Do you consider Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Parts 1 and 2 one movie or two? I would consider them two as they were released in different calendar years, each required their own ticket, have their box office proceeds counted separately, and were released separately on DVD but I guess from reading this thread

Tarantino say whatever he likes people are just confused because what he says doesn’t seem to correspond with objective reality. With most directors you can just go to IMDB and count up their director credits to get an accurate count of their movies but you can’t do that with Tarantino because he doesn’t count some of

God the neutral zone trap was such a disaster for the NHL. A super defensive style of play that lead to a ton of low scoring games (0-0 going into overtime wasn’t uncommon) and was absurdly boring to watch that was allowed to dominate the sport for almost a decade at a time that the NHL was struggling to remain

This is addressed right in the article:

He’s counting two movies that were released in two different years and have separate box office totals as one movie so I can’t fault people for being confused at his counting.

If Kawhi wants silence the Lakers are fucked. Dude had a meeting with Magic then like a half hour later Magic is giving an interview going over exactly what they discussed. That shit’s on an entirely different level than Drake’s cheer-leading.

I mean, if you’re the kind of person who needs a tow because you just forgot to buy gas then yeah, I guess this probably isn’t for you.

>What exactly was this guy’s plan?

I feel like you’re exaggerating how much range people need. Like, sure, if you *ask* people they’ll tell you that they need to drive 400miles on a single charge but look at their actual needs and this is probably fine.

I think when people say “rock is dead” they’re referring to rock’s place in popular culture and not the music itself. 25 years ago you could turn on the radio or MTV or whatever and get exposed to lots of new rock music; it was just there and you could consume it passively. Now rock music is almost entirely out of pop

Yeah this. In terms of actually going down the slopes there’s basically no difference between a skiier and a snowboarder. A really shitty snowboarder is going to mess up the snow more than a really shitty skiier would but who cares, it’s such a minor impact and the slopes are fucked by the end of the day anyway.

I think people are mostly being critical of the Knicks because of the rumour that they could have had KD if they were willing to offer him a max. Maybe history will prove them right and KD will come back a shell of his former self but if there’s any player in the league that you take a chance on it’s him.  Brooklyn

>Adam Silver and the powers-that-be don’t want to reward the Knicks and Dolan for their incompetence by allowing them to draft the most exciting basketball player in the last 10 years in Zion Williamson

I can’t be the only one shocked that she’s actually looking at jail time here, right? White collar crime, first offence, no clear victim (just some nebulous person who didn’t get accepted so her daughter could). This just seems like routine rich person shit, right? Charles Kushner pays $2.5 mil to get his kid into

>and a guy widely considered the best player on the planet right now who just carried a team to a title

I’ll take this opportunity to submit the 90's version of IT for consideration as one of the worst movies of all time. It’s seriously terrible and if you think otherwise I’m gonna guess you haven’t seen it since the 90's and are basing your opinion on nostalgia.

>he would go to town on every new bottle of hard liquor or liquours until there was a quarter-inch left, and then he would leave it alone.

If you’re any other player that’s exactly what you do but Durant is good enough that teams will still offer him max money even with his injury. I don’t think there’s any benefit for him to opt-in and enter free agency next year. Maybe he gets a free ring riding the bench for a year but with him and Klay out most of

No one talks about it because it’s old news. When Durant first came into the league he couldn’t stop talking about how much he was influenced by Dirk and how when he was a teenager he would watch Mavs games so he could learn to emulate Dirk’s playstyle.

While the movie may have been a dud the book it’s based upon was excellent.  I’d highly recommend it to anyone although it is a bit of a product of it’s era; it really captures that feeling of Gen-X malaise that was so pervasive in early 90's media.
