good reasons to not like the Harry Potter
movies... you might think the creator has abhorrent views

He was in Equus? So that’s why he acted weird when I said that to him.

I love this cartoon. The difference between the cooperative hunting of canids versus the ambush predator behavior of felines means that despite roughly equivalent intelligence they interact with us in very different ways and have domesticated in radically different processes. Dogs went all in on communal dependency

Amen, my friend. That movie was just fucking awful.  To paraphrase the late, great Roger Ebert: I hated, hated, hated that movie.

Oooh The Happening, good call. I haven’t got my Pixies on in a while, that was always my favourite from that album.

For the first bit of the trailer I was thinking this doesn’t feel much like a FF game. The second part felt like it had ratcheted up the Anime Bullshit(TM) to a degree that felt exactly like a FF game.

Red Right Hand” has a much spookier groove for sure. For me, “Curse of Millhaven” gets the nod for Stinky Bohoon and his friend with the pumpkin sized head.

*Me watching that political intrigue and worldbuilding*: Aww yeah, that’s the stuff.
*Me watching the action combat*: ...that’s not the stuff.

What’s he building in there?
What the hell is he building in there?
He has subscriptions to those magazines
He never waves when he goes by
He’s hiding something from the rest of us
He’s all to himself
I think I know why
He took down the tire swing from the Peppertree
He has no children of his own, you see
He has no dog
And he

No “Curse of Millhaven”?  That ain’t right.

Consider adding:

I loved the music in this episode, especially that techno song over the end credits. Had almost a Blade Runnery/Vangelis wavering effect and feel, and suited perfectly.

My personal favorite line, from the ISB Meeting:

Are we sure he’s “walking back” and not just forgotten what he said five minutes ago, let alone a few months?

FWIW I also hated Three Billboards and if you had told me Banshees was from the same person I’d have called you a liar. It’s exceedingly great.

Alan Moore, much like Harrison Ford, is forever tied to a genre he just doesn’t like.

I hear Mike Richards is available.

Was definitely Solar Opposites (we do a lot of pausing and replaying when we watch) and I also thought the guy after him not actually being the killer a nice touch.
