I love the chile pepper plates.
I love the chile pepper plates.
It certainly felt like the easiest 2D Mario to me. Even the hardest stages* took me no more than 5-6 tries before getting through it. In fact, the first three worlds were so stupidly easy I was getting disappointed in the game. Once I stopped looking for a challenge- and just enjoyed the ride, I started liking the…
My personal favorite cover is TV on the Radio’s version of Mr. Grieves (The Pixies). They turn it into an a capella doo-wop spiritual. It’s so good.
I once heard a version of Heartbeats performed by an a capella boys choir. It was gorgeous.
and Down in the Park was on the same album as another amazing cover: William S Burroughs replacing Michael Stipe for a spoken-word version of Star Me Kitten.
Can I vote for Closing Time? It’s my favorite Cohen song, but the synths are so cheesy sounding. I could only imagine what Tom Waits could do with it.
Announced on October 11, EA Sports’s FC Tactical is a free-to-play soccer game for mobile devices launching in 2024.
I still don’t see the need for an XBox if the player already has a gaming PC or Steam Deck. The Game Pass selection is already a little better on PC, and the XBox has no exclusivity window. (For example, I didn’t need to wait to play Hi—Fi Rush on my Steam Deck.)
I’m in the “that was bad” camp, but I hadn’t watched Rebels or Clone Wars, so that may explain my stance a bit.
I’m not surprised the Series S accounted for 75% of XBox Series models sold. During the pandemic, it was the most readily available next-gen console. Series Xs and PS5s were really hard to come by for a long time, but a Series S with a friendly $300 price point made it look mighty attractive in an otherwise scarce…
I ditched Game Pass and PS+ pretty quickly. I don’t have a lot of time to play games, so I have to be very picky in what I do choose. Since I only play a small handful of games a year (and very rarely are they AAA), it just wasn’t a good deal for me.
Chocobo breeding was a pretty important feature of the original game
I haven’t been this outraged since I couldn’t carry the Metal Blade over into Mega Man III.
It was worth it in the 90s when that was the only way to get updated rosters, but I feel like these days that can be easily patched in. I feel like it would be better (but admittedly less profitable) to release them once every 4-5 years, but with annual roster updates and maybe other DLC. (Just look at how Nintendo’s…
I remember having a MindDrive for the PC back in the 90s. You would put a sensor on your finger and control simple games. It was janky at best, but it did work. I was particularly fond of a skiing game that I learned to control not by thinking the words “left” or “right”, but by thinking of the concepts of left and…
Wow, that trailer was exceedingly Miyazaki.
Pumpkin Spice Red Vines is the most California thing ever to not involve an avocado.
I am interested but tentative. The worst mistake they could make is to have the cat talk. The game was at its best when all of the robots were simply reacting to a cat being a cat.
That’s what I did. It was a spiffy little console. I sold mine once I got a PS5 and a Steam Deck though. With those 2 consoles, my Series S became redundant.
Yeah, he pulled the rare feat of directing an animated film that got an Oscar nomination for cinematography after all. It’s a shame he can’t find a good story to hang these production values on.
