It’s just cosmetic though. It almost has no effect on gameplay.* Just roll with it. And hey, if you’re like me, you’ll find the one costume that really represents you and you pretty much don’t care what other options they offer up afterwards.

This scene reminds me of the Fly Guy scene from I’m Gonna Git You Sucka. Now, in that film, it’s played entirely for laughs, and yet I just end up feeling so bad for the guy who just wanted to look cool. (Now that I think of it, Freaks & Geeks has a very similar scene when Sam goes to school in his Night Suit.)

He plays that scene so well too, like how he’s talking about his ex and his throat catches. He takes a moment to compose himself before saying the “win” line. Terrific acting.

I never got what everybody else gets out of the Toy Story movies. They’re the same goddamn movie over and over again. TS1: “What does it mean to be a toy? Oh, and let’s save Buzz.” TS2: “What does it mean to be a toy? Oh, and let’s save Woody.” TS3: “What does it mean to be a toy? Oh, and let’s save each other.” I’ll

That’s how it started, yes, but when white supremacists keep doing it...

Prior to scrubbing his social media pages, there were pictures of him in MAGA hats.

Here’s how I’d rank them so far:

Jennings had a tic of his own: if someone was incorrect, Jennings would say “no?” like a question.

The article left out why so many former Jeopardy contestants find this to be a case of a walking, quacking duck:

Ferrell is now older than Ross was at the time of his death. But if Oldman can play Mank, why not?

I’m pretty sure the greed part is him keeping the perm to maintain his brand even though he hated it.

Controller injuries are no joke. I played the time attack modes of Lumines on the Switch obsessively for months, which had me playing super fast. I had to stop after developing tendonitis in both thumbs. It took months to heal.

John’s take reminds me of college. I would fire up Bust-a-Move on my PS1 and my friends would call it a “Snood rip-off”. Oh man, how mad that made me.

His media appearances with Ryan Gosling promoting the Blade Runner sequel were hilarious. Not only did he not give a shit, he spent most of the time making fun of Gosling. Gosling seemed to take it all in stride.

I can’t help but think of Pan’s Labyrinth, which was nominated for 6 awards and won 3, but lost Foreign Language film to The Lives of Others.

I can’t stand when the winner for Best Original Song is for something that only plays over the closing credits, but the batting average for Best Original Song is better than people would think. In the last 20 years, I count 8 songs that are actually integral to/played during the film rather than just the opening or

I was really looking forward to Sound of Metal, but despite great work from Riz Ahmed as well as the sound design, I can’t help but feel it was a by-the-numbers film.

I thought Tenet was fine. Not great, just fine. But man, that shot of half of a building exploding while the other half reconstitutes itself (then seen again with time reversed) was fire.

That final scene reminded me of the “God is a Boob Man” sketch from Saturday Night Live. It was so hokey and over-the-top, it definitely knocked the whole movie down a peg.

There’s a scene in Nomadland where Fern pets a dog, and it’s the most Frances McDormand thing ever.
