Also contrast Jubilee’s reaction to Ben’s sad news to Olivia’s. He really should’ve given Olivia the boot. Anyone who responds to “Two of my dear friends just died.” with “I’m insecure about my legs!” is not someone you want around for anything other than a party, and still maybe not even then.

I think the racism is so ingrained that they don’t even realize that what they’re saying is wrong. Just like I believe that a large portion of the viewing audience probably didn’t pick it up, either, and that is what I think needs to be addressed.

Are we also going to address Lace LEAVING THE SHOW? Because that was the most mature action of anyone on this show last night! I was totally shocked by it, but I also didn’t realize that she’s only 20 years old; it explained a lot of her actions.

I wanna fight all these bitches they were literally looking for anything to make Jubilee feel bad and some of it was thinly veiled racism for sure. I love her she is real and awkward and sweet. Ben shutting it down cemented my adoration of him.

It’s also interesting, that Olivia was doing far worse, and as much as the other girls were hating on her privately, not one of them ever voiced any desire to confront her, individually or as a group. They would not have had the balls. They all saw and recognized how confident and aggressive she was, and didn’t dare.…

I usually watch this show with a smirk on my face the entire time, with a few hearty laughs thrown in, but last night was on a whole other level. I found myself screaming, “Are you fucking kidding me?” a few times. I’m having next day regret about getting so emotional about this shit.

They were one step away from calling her “uppity” — it was uncomfortably blatant.

I actually watched the Bachelor last night, and I really felt for Jubilee.

Watching this last night I couldn’t WAIT for this article because the level of racist insanity the mean girls got to was really something new. What was with them all saying she thinks she’s “queen bee”?? I found that particularly odd because withdrawing from a group of people who are attacking you isn’t what a queen…

Jubilee!!! So glad to see a girl who is more of a real person than 95% of the girls ever on this show. It was deeply stupid for the girls to be “offended” about her joke about not wanting the helicopter date. They just don’t like that she doesn’t want to play the game the way that it’s been generally accepted.

I’m still wondering at why Jubilee is on this show. She seems a) too good for this kind of bullshit and b) horribly unsuited to deal with this kind of dramz (as am I and as are most normal people I would guess).

Holy shit I have thought about this dumb show way too much.

I was just as shocked as Jubilee was when Ben asked her out on a 1:1 date. Black contestants never last much longer than round 2 on this show.

Hold on just a second. We all know that diversity happens in front of the camera, not behind the camera.

And she was an ethics prof! That’s the part that kills me.
