Really?
Really?
We’d still be a shitty oligarchy and she’d probably do nothing to stop it. And I think a decade of a GOP majority would be a much worse outcome.
I think a big reason people cut Polanski slack was because the media kept framing it as “statutory rape”, even though the girl was clearly drugged (I’m not saying statutory rape is consensual, I’m just saying this would have been non-consensual if she was 19).
People make excuses for their friends.
Christ, what a baby. This testimony alone should be enough evidence that he’s not fit for the SCOTUS.
We broke the glass basement floor. yay.
Asia Argento: Because why should only men get to be human garbage?
She’s a pro-life Republican.
Hugh Jackman and I feel bad about it because he seems like an incredibly nice guy. But he made that Greatest Showman film, the one that glorified P.T. Fucking Barnum and made him seem like some kind of Oskar Schindler for freaks. I hated that “This Is Me” song and I was glad it didn’t win an Oscar.

I’m pretty positive the guy’s a psychopath.
Off topic, but holy fuck was that guy attractive.
Yeah, but it makes the Doctor into a rapist. It’s one thing when the Time Lords erase Jamie and Zoe’s memories (spoiler alert for the Second Doctor era), it’s another when the Doctor does it.
The problem with Donna is that she didn’t have a choice. If she had agreed to let the Doctor mindwipe her, it would be one thing, but he did it without her consent, without letting her decide. I know it saved her life but the fact that she kept saying “no no” until he erased her memories kind of takes away her agency.…
Some producer called him the Marvel equivalent of Christopher Reeve.
I just kind of feel like people really gloss over the incredibly problematic elements of the Davies era. The way the Doctor treated the first black companions for instance. Or what happened to Donna. I’m not saying he’s bad or that Moffat’s perfect. They’re just both middle aged white men (I know RTD’s gay).
Yeah, but it was a throwaway joke and she was portrayed very negatively. There’s plenty to criticize with RTD (especially some of the ways he portrayed women) just as there is with Moffat.
I honestly think Moffat’s hugely responsible for there being a female Doctor.
From what I’ve seen of his Twitter, guy seems to be taking the Captain America role seriously. I think he’s this close to putting on the costume and punching out Trump.
