for me it’s kind of like the Supra. in pictures it looks bad but in person it works.

I had the same experience. I was given a Durango SRT by Avis or somebody. I liked it a lot for 3 days in basically new condition. If I was a Texas lake guy with three kids...

It’s hard to make a soft top convertible that looks good when it’s up. Except for the badging, it looks great.

You just might have won. And I’m with you. I really don’t mind when sporty cars are manual-only for the first few years, like the GR Corolla and the Honda/Acura Si/Type S stuff. I buy cars new, but not the first couple of model years anyway. But I’m done with manual transmissions.

I get why they would want to call an EV pickup Ramcharger, but my family had a real one in the 80s and I feel like it should be a Bronco/Blazer-like SUV like it was historically.

Me. I’m a someone. I prefer understated colors on cars that are slow in spite of what the brand name implies. Though I admit “It’s probably for the best” isn’t a strong endorsement.

False. Also, nobody cares what your income is.

I don’t see how you can put old Rangers on the list without including the Bronco II. Excepting cosmetics, they are the same vehicle. I’d much rather have a Bronco II than a Ranger from the same era. I’m shocked Ford isn’t trying to sell the Everest in the US now.

I suspect that the customer service driver reps won’t pay any attention at all to the cars until they report that they are stuck or confused. Then the remote drivers will have to quickly assess the situation and get the vehicle to a place where it can go back to autonomous driving. The remote drivers’ purpose won’t be

This is just financial ignorance. Someone needs to explain to this guy that he’s supposed to buy a GAP policy and crash every 3rd new car he buys to reset his negative equity. This is basic money management, people.

So I guess I have two questions.

It’s like when he was writing the book he gave himself an idea.

Sad, and true.

ND.

Also, I just don’t think I’d want to own a car with no headrests or shoulder harnesses. I can’t think of one that I could afford but also want badly enough to be OK with that.

Citing examples that are 1.5x or 2x the price doesn’t make your point very well. Those cars aren’t at all likely to run or drive for longer than a season without a lot of work.

I totally agree with you that it will never be sought by sane and reasonable people or regularly command much money. I’m being nitpicky, but I

The XJS is not a $2k car. Almost no car is a $2k car. It’s almost 2025.

I wouldn’t buy anything from this flipper that’s full of shit. Their ad annoys me, I already hate them. It’s written by and for someone that’s unfamiliar with Porsche and should not buy one. And anyone that believes seller’s claim that there is “no tax” on a private sale shouldn’t be buying anything more expensive

If it’s not level with the floor I wouldn’t even call it a hatch. I’d call it a lift-back.

It sold to GenX, not Boomers. It was the perfect vehicle for dragging your shitty band’s gear around town because the seats could fold up and away and it never broke down. Source: me.

Yay let’s all pretend that Cheaper To Make means Cheaper To Buy and that we will all win.
