I’m too much of a chicken to buy even the non-hybrid Hornet GT until it establishes a reputation. It’s been a year and I haven’t seen a single one of them on the road. I still don’t know if it’s a heap right out of the box.

Malicious libel. The result is the opposite of cramming.
Yes, that’s just a little too much for me to worry about when I need to finish my job and make my flight home. I don’t know whether it’s difficult or easy or how close to fully charged they need it to be not to charge me. I just don’t want to think or worry about that when I’m on the road for work.
I didn’t see any capacity numbers. Are there actually more seats on the plane with this change or just more room for the same number of passengers?
Yes, I had to look it up I hadn’t heard of it. It looks like they were still selling it in Indonesia last year and are selling a similar sized vehicle under the same name in Japan this year but built in India.
Myth.
I’m not an idiot, you literal asshole. Refineries aren’t going to stop operating in the next 6 years.
I can see it, but I don’t see it. I live in the second largest metropolitan area in the US, I still haven’t seen a single Hornet on the street. And I look for them.
I was excited about the Hornet but I’m frustrated with it. The red seat inserts and red brake calipers limit me to choosing black or red or I guess, white, paint. I love the Acapulco Gold color but it looks like shit with the red accents. I would just get the GT Plus, but it’s still too expensive.
When demand goes down, the price goes down.
You pay out the ass for the privilege. It’s not complicated.
I think the Fit would have sold a lot better if it had been a small SUV instead of an econobox hatchback.
Run from this. The heater core is buried deeply in the dash requiring removal of the steering wheel, console, upper and lower dash, windshield wipers and wiper surround, glove box, etc. The blower motor is also difficult to reach. You WILL break some of the plastic, and it will squeak and rattle when you put it back…
That would be an interesting one. Stellantis would probably worry that it would eat into EV Fiat sales, but there aren’t any and the ec-3 is a very different vehicle than the 500e. The Citroen brand name would be a marketing nightmare. Even Opel’s pronunciation isn’t crystal clear. Maybe they could rebrand it as Vox…
Another factor now is the cars wouldn’t qualify for the EV tax credits. They’d have to put factories in the US and at least source a lot of parts here. VAG is probably in the best position to do this, but VW is their only low-end brand that has name recognition here. I think it would be cool if VW focused on small EVs…
Agreed. It makes me think of a deer blind, which doesn’t make any sense.
This list is so true I struggled to flip through all of it.
I’ve gotten a Ford Edge a few times as a rental. The seats are wonderfully plush but still firm, and the driving position is great. My favorite rental car. That’s all that I remember about it.
I was all set to vigorously defend the Defender 90, but then I…
Apparently tire tread only lasts 10k miles on EVs anyway. Musk is just making sure the Cybertruck uses up all of the rubber. Literally none is wasted! When will you haters acknowledge his genius?
hell yah expense that shit.
