I think you’re underestimating the difficulty of bypassing dealer networks. But I think the main reason is that cars this small are unpopular in the US and haven’t sold well enough for a new venture since the gas crunch 0ver 50 years ago.

First rule of the internet: Never answer the question.

OK, groomer. I copped to being an old fart in the first line of my post.

Oh immediately. I like hot trash. And this is the best thing that could possibly have happened for this woman’s hustle. Good luck to her. But I don’t think she should be advertising her porn at a grade school.

I guess I’m an officially an old fart, but I agree with the school. On top of that, I don’t think that vehicle’s presence would be appropriate on a public school campus, either. The fact that anyone would defend or even question the appropriateness of a sex worker advertising their pornography at a grade school makes

I’d take that bet.

It’s got 166k miles on it. Even if the engine was built fairly recently but long enough ago to be sure the mods work well, that’s a lot of wear on the rest of the car. It’s tempting because it looks good, but I have had a few cars that few mechanics could or would work on, and I’m just done with all that. ND.

Everything is relative, but being able to scrape together $400-$2000 bucks doesn’t make you rich where I grew up in Dallas.

Vinfast is an automaker that the average consumer doesn’t even know exists, and the brand has already entered what some would consider a death spiral of discounts to find customers.

Why not?

More like Yugo.

That’s the wrong Mk IV. The ‘72 had the much better-looking pedestrian-killer bumpers:

I had a convertible V12 one. I miss that heap of shit but I couldn’t daily drive it.

One of my very favorite coupes. Nice choice.

Since I work from home and dependability and parts availability wouldn’t be my top priorities, I agree with this pick.

Gotta love a car that can tell when you’re having sex in it.

That’s true. And he doesn’t seem the type that would ever drive if he didn’t have to and he has never had to. If I had to guess, the miles on this Lambo were most likely put on by his kids.
