i didn’t fill out a form last month, i was just asked if i had anything.

for being a sneaky tax dodger. no sympathy.

the tax and fine are a percentage of the value. so anyone that has the stuff, probably has the stuff.

i often delay replies because i’m driving. i’d rather have a reason to blow off messages for a while than my employer have an expectation that i reply while driving.

take musk’s wang out of your mouth and read the subheadline.

same. all of my appliances look like shit no matter what so i just quit.

they might get cool patinas. but my money is on ridiculous. i’m glad i can find out without investing in it.

cocaine. you’re talking about cocaine, right?

When I was a kid I was fascinated with the crystal key that Chrysler used for a couple of years. I think it reminded me of the fortress of solitude crystal stuff from the first Superman movie.

my guess is the range is low because it assumes a full load of cargo, and probably doesn’t bother with regen brakes.

Awesome looking example, but priced too high. To be fair, there just aren’t any Euro cars from the Long Ugly Stupid Bumper Era that I’d be excited to buy.

I think US tourists are part of this, but I think the bigger target is the US dollars that Cubans in the US send home.

Yeah it sounds like some kind of tax on the US dollars that Cubans in the US send home.

Yeah my mom absolutely loves her Nissan Rogue. But she drives 20 miles a month.

from the article, it’s obvious that she can’t afford to replace a car either.

Yeah, Honda doesn’t have an ego motivating it to push stuff like this through. Other outlets are reporting that Honda claims some version of these will really come out in 2026. The Honda E actually hit the market, but only in Japan and Europe. These things look too large for those markets. I don’t know what to think.

It’s not a terrible price. If I had 8 grand that I absolutely didn’t give two rotten shits about, I might buy this thing and just leave it wherever it dies.

I agree, but somehow all of these are less ridiculous than the cybertruck. i have the weirdest semi right now.

I wouldn’t pay $32k for it. But. I might pay $32k for it and then lie about it. I’ll be in my bunk.

Yeah I never really understood Robotech. We didn’t get to see that one consistently, and had dirt clod fights over what we thought the plot was.
