you don’t go inside while you’re fueling, that’s considered rude. you go inside after you gas up and move your car to a regular parking space so someone else can use the pump. if you want to get gas in 4 minutes and leave, you can. a lot of people do, the gas there is cheaper than anywhere else except maybe Costco.

I think so, too. I’m starting to see imitators with generic animal mascots, etc. But life is hard and people are struggling and if they can get a little joy out of something as mundane and unavoidable as fueling a vehicle, then whatever. There aren’t enough treats in the world.
