i’m seeing a lot of complexes with garages advertising that they have EV charging. the one i talked to charges an extra 300 a month on top of rent for a parking spot with charging. you’re right, nobody is going to let us just keep that sweet sweet gas station money.

i wonder what the overlap is for people that socially or politically want an EV and people that own homes.

why wouldn’t it? apartments where i live are installing EV chargers. there is no rent control here.

unless the other guy doesn’t have insurance. nobody at Avis or Hertz ever asks me for proof of insurance. they ask me if i want to buy insurance, and i say no. also it wouldn’t surprise me if the other guy’s insurance refuses to pay because the guy was being a complete jackass.

i just moved to CA a year ago. generally, i think drivers in CA are much more cooperative and generous than TX drivers. in CA people take turns and let people in to keep the flow going. but it would be cool if CA drivers aimed their rearview mirrors at the traffic behind them instead of at their own faces. what kind

When I lived in TX, the two main things that irritated me were people aggressively interfering with other drivers by speeding up and closing gaps so that others can’t change lanes, and a refusal to get on board with zipper merging. Texans get really shitty with people that don’t merge down to one lane as quickly as

yah this is the least risky or crazy 35% hp increase i’ve ever heard of.

my point is i think these gas theft stories are exaggerated. i don’t believe stabbing fuel tanks to steal gas is a trend that’s sweeping the nation. realistically, a thief isn’t going to be able to get more than what, $6 to $20 worth? and then they have to carry it off? it’s much more likely that a couple of people

I just want to say how much I appreciate that the title of this piece isn’t clickbait. I saw this story all over the internet and every other post implied that wacky liberal california was calling chick fil a in general a nuisance because of anti-LQBTQRSTUVWXYZ+ donations.

unless your town is College Station TX. those Aggies don’t like orange things.

that was my point. whether a dealership middleman or a manufacturer is jacking up prices right now, massive price increases are happening with every brand. Actually, they are.

you’d think so, but it’s tear-downs all the way down.

yeah where are the assholes running around with buckets of gasoline and drills in their hands? gas costs a dollar a pound in Los Angeles right now. who steals shit with that ratio, really?

come on. that’s like expecting hershey bars to still be 5 cents.

Massive price increases are happening with every brand, it’s just that Tesla is the only one that doesn’t have dealerships, so it gets to keep the market adjustments. did you really not expect an EV company to jack up their prices when there’s a gas price spike?

I-70 near Denver is the second worst-smelling place I’ve ever been in my life.

i think maybe the author based that on the single craigslist search they did for a 2 bedroom apartment last year. they cost a lot and there weren’t any. that’s expensive and exclusive right?

everything is relative. that’s a relatively high-end dodge.

oh these are tear-downs, too.

except that the L.A. cops the business has obviously been paying off for 20 years still really like beating heads in.
