there is no way in boiled hell that he hasn’t already considered and rejected the idea of a rental for reasons he didn’t bother to go into.

yeah maybe he could pull an FHA mortgage for the other $6k

i don’t think he would have said 6 months if he meant 2.

no they don’t. they know it. everybody knows it. you just look like a douche when you say something that’s obvious to everyone as though it’s some sneaky devastating riposte. generating electricity more cleanly is a separate issue that’s also being worked on. consolidating pollution issues is still progress.

there’s still assembly for both sides to blame it on.

i think he meant “technically a company” but had to keep the tweet down to 140 characters back then.

massive NP. that interior is fucking gross though. i’d pay asking then drop it off for a clutch replacement. i don’t have time to replace it because i’m spending every moment looking for original seats in blue.

if i lived through the winter, i’d want to have a Fill My Grave Back In Party with the rest of the persistent old farts.

yeah it’s only the size of the left 1/3 of the mirror. i think i’ve seen those GM mirrors in a rental or something, they are pretty sweet. almost no bezel, etc

nice fat toggles.

i don’t think it was due for a refresh. it went on sale in Japan for the 2017 model year, then in the US in 2018, and the change was made in 2019. as far as i can tell from the 2019 rental i drove, the only change was the infotainment unit. the C-HR got Apple Auto and Android Play. maybe that’s considered a refresh. my

my 2018 Toyota C-HR’s backup camera is in the rear view mirror. but not in the 2019. maybe because the screen was too small? i know i can’t see a god damned thing out the rear window or in the mirror display.

hell put it on the ceiling then i guess.

GHETTO EDIT: i always assumed those door locks were vacuum actuated from the shifter because i first noticed them on an early 90's Geo Metro and they took a little while to lock. turns out, it wasn’t a vacuum system and it wasn’t triggered by shifting out of park. the car had a Vehicle Speed Sensor and only locked the

yeah but i think disconnecting the inside and outside handles must have been thought of as worth doing. i can’t think of any other reason why a Geo Metro with crank windows would have had auto-locking doors starting the same year as the mouse belts.

seems like this is an admission from Nissan that they have absolutely nothing that’s cool and fun and cheap anywhere near the pipeline.

but they look cool.

reluctant NP. i’m torn. rusty with broken AC makes this a Texas Nope. but i wanted one of these almost as much as i wanted a Talon TSi AWD and the nostalgia is strong. i don’t hate those seat belts as much as the average jalop. i generally like goofy mechanical shit. my teenage daughter is lucky this thing is so far

yeah i think that’s why they started making those vacuum actuated automatic door locks that engaged when you shifted out of park. what a weird time.

where are they located? i have to disassemble 40% of my ‘98 volvo s70 to get to the evaporator.
