When Wong arrived for work that evening, she says she saw Levandowski walking in circles in the living room, sweating profusely and talking to his lawyer, Miles Ehrlich, on the phone.

either i don’t understand what you wrote, or you are seriously overestimating the competency required to get a license.

so, completely replace everything and then spend more money maintaining it?

exactly. i’m glad i saw this before i spent another 20 minutes trying to figure out how to word it.

i don’t think automation of rail solves any of those problems. sure, it would let them fire about a thousand workers, but it wouldn’t be much faster or more convenient or less expensive. i’m surprised anything other than bulk raw material is still moved by train.

the interstate highway system was funded, in part, to break our dependence on transport of goods by rail. if autonomous trucks are going to need their own lanes, isn’t that a step backward? sounds like rail with extra steps, with the cost of “laying track” likely dropped onto taxpayers.

the only thing i would buy from someone that thinks 348 wheels look better than the stock wheels is their stock wheels.

i don’t mind it. except for that soft top cover. it looks like someone just threw a blanket over the back and kind of tucked it in and then said eh fuck it i’m late. a lot of Euro convertibles have this problem. Aston Martins and Jags in particular. they look kind of shitty top up or down. the interior of this Mondial

yeah even if most people go right back to work in their same jobs after this, consumer confidence will probably be low for a while.

demand should take care of that, shouldn’t it?

fuck i think i’m done with sedans. all i thought when i saw this was “eh i really need a hatch in the back.” i’m part of the problem, and it’s time i owned it.

you can flip the switch on the FDA. to the off position. YOU GET A WAIVER! YOU GET A WAIVER! EVERYBODY GETS A WAIVER!

but what about the Chinese emails?

best gen.

I don’t see any reason to trust dealer stock info online. I did a car gurus search yesterday. None of the ‘20 Vettes I saw listed had photos, and all of the prices were right around MSRP. None were at $59,995, but there were several under $63k. I don’t believe that bullshit for one second. Those cars aren’t on the

I love and hate this advice. I love it for people that are likely to screw themselves by messing with it. But I sure hate it for people that know enough to move their investment into less volatile funds and then back over to their original choices when they are back on their way up. Just holy shit don’t cash out.

I’m sure a lot of them are. But where I live and in the circle I run with, a new Corvette is one of the first things a lifelong working class guy rewards himself with, not one of the last. The guy in my neighborhood that bought one only had one house and a truck and worked for the post office basically all his life.

If they aren’t, they get their haircuts at the same barber.

Well there is one rail line that goes between south central ish Plano into downtown Dallas, which would have been great 20-40 years ago. But the line does nothing for the bulk of commuter traffic now, which goes into and out of Plano from Frisco, McKinney, Allen etc.

yeah, it’s a much harder sell this month. Still a much cheaper solution to commuter traffic than having a global pandemic. But a solution is a solution.
