The new Crafter/MAN TGE is already an all-VW design, the cooperation with Mercedes ended two years ago. VW also has a very healthy commercial vehicle business in Europe, selling better than Ford.
This VW+Ford thing will probably about developing markets, where the none of them really has something useful.

Cadillac’s Situation Continues To Escalade

“By the time the MK4 rolled out, it was mostly windows actuators and o2 sensors that were problematical, they were otherwise solid cars.”

The MKIII was the true problematic Golf,it was the first to be manufactured in Mexico, with a whole chain of suppliers.

Replace “German Engineering” with “Soul” and it sounds exactly like today’s Mazda apologists.

It was just the natural predestined evolution of Civic Boy.

I just recently learned the etymology of the phrase “pig in a poke” which apparently references how livestock was sold in Ye Olden Days. Every engine listed has its strengths and weaknesses. I loved them all, except for notorious HG issues, but enjoyed driving and swapping with these engines.

While I appreciate that you’re looking for a more charitable interpretation, the fact that it’s an ‘attempt’ to obey the speed limit unfortunately leads me to believe that’s not the case.

I think you’ve misinterpreted the situation. Two Toyota drivers anchored a Jeep to a city bus, then chained their vehicles together in an attempt to tear the Jeep in two.

Damnit. Beat me to it.

Neh, they just needed a better bus.
