And how much money did you spend?

I didn’t know you drive from the back seat.

It takes an enlightened person to appreciate the greatness that is this car.

Yes it is. They’re complaining about it instead of treating it like a badge of honor.

They are fine for about 6 years. Otherwise it’s a horrible decision.

Ahem...

I agree with you. I think at that point, it would be a cost issue. I’m sure making a Toyota powertrain work with BMW electronics/electrics would have been absurdly expensive.

Those used Cruisers will still go for $30k when they’re 12 years old. The LX...will need new airbags. I know why people buy the LX, but it’s still sad. I’m glad my GX still comes with coil springs. It’s an open secret that it’s better than a 4Runner, especially used.

Yea. The spindle is a mixed bag. It works in its more modest form on the GS and GX. The facelifted GS is strange. The LX looks better in person, but is still weird (any why they hell to people pay an additional $15k over the objectively better Cruiser is beyond me). The LC works, but the rear is definitely the more

Obviously they didn’t but this forum is breaking the cardinal rule of making something go away that you don’t like.

A lot of Toyota’s design of late has been that way. It’s not “beautiful” by past standards, but it’s definitely breakaway and trying to push preferences into the next generation. They along with everyone else have to experiment.

My rational irrational hatred of them just popped up. Especially in TDI trim still running in America. Especially if it’s a wagon.

Now playing

I think it’s stupid too. They don’t need to sports car everything. VIP style would have been a great nod to the large sedan tuner crowd.

I know. Isn’t it great?!

The only car that’s allowed this trim is the Century. And that’s because it’s actual brushed metal. It’s like the frame to an elegant portrait.

I disagree. Modern CUVs are the culmination of creating a transportation appliance. Wagonlike practicality with higher ride height so ingress and egress is easier. Add to that fuel economy that matches or surpasses previous generation sedans and a driving experience that is similar to a sedan.

That’s the point. It’s unlikely for the price of oil to spike the way it did because of changes in how oil is produced. That with better fuel economy on CUVs will make it unlikely that sedans will make some magic comeback.

I didn’t even know that the E46 did this too. But then most of them around me were either base models or sport package. In fact, all makers need to get rid of that silly chrome trim.

I know what he meant to say, but damn that’s a funny slip up.

Maybe it’s time to go back to a 1980s style design language and hide the grill in the lower part of the bumper.
