Don't even mention EA with Battlefield 3. In my honest opinion, DICE would have waited to fix all the bugs, put it on steam, and made wouldn't bitch about how amazing their game is. That company does not get enough credit for the success they have had.

More saying that this article is stating the obvious. It's not surprising that Microsoft sells more Windows 7 than all these other companies.

That doesn't fly with any large company... iPads would not cost close to $500 if it were being built in the US. And do you think other phones sell cheaper than the iPhone? A HUGE percentage of smartphones sell for $600 off-contract and some phones sell for $300 on-contract.

Maybe because Microsoft owns more than 90% of Operating systems? (I know this is very bad wording, but pretty much over 90% of computers are windows)

Our school is one of the all-mac schools. If we don't play heavy games, none of our macbook pros die during school. An iPad will easily last a whole school day.

Agreed. And for once, this seems like a great long-term alternative. Seems like Apple might have nailed this one... Will have to wait and see if/when they support more textbooks and if universal access will be possible.

Remember that These books are $15 dollars each and are bought, not rented. But I do agree that this would be much better for College/ Private high schools.

Check iTunes. There are currently only about 10 (from what I can see) but each book costs only $15 to buy. Seems like a pretty nice deal.
