Every vehicle I had ever bought(aside the one from my neighbors where I knew for a fact they did all the service the manual stated, to the letter), I always factored into the purchase a set of spark plugs, wires, oil/filter, and transmission fluid. This saved me big money when we bought a V6 firebird where the

This custom 1/4 scale fuel injected V8 engine. This guy machined it from scratch.

Speaking of Subaru's, for some of the models with the automatic transmission, instead of a tachometer, you just had a circular plate in the place that says Subaru Impreza(or whatever car you had). Just in case you forgot what car you were driving...

These super good Chinese licenses aren't exactly new. I know two people who got them 2 years ago. From China. They sent the money via a money order. No online updates, shipping confirmation, nothing. 6 weeks later, this odd Chinese luck charm came in the mail. Carve it open, the ID was in there. The second came in a

My parents had an old Merc that had a badge like that from the dealership. Only, instead of gluing it in place, a hole was drilled through the trunk and it was bolted on! So even if you removed it, there's a 1/4" hole in the trunk!

I, myself, am not a gun owner, but I do know one thing. Usually, as the amount of people carrying firearms goes up, the amount of violence goes down. With the exception of gang and drug warfare, most people won't end up shooting at each other, especially if they know the other person can shoot right back at them.

This one's pretty easy...

I had this built into my Palm Pre phone(RIP) and my Palm Touchpad tablet that I use to this day. For the phone, I had chargers in the office, my home, and my car. The magnets hold the devices perfectly in place(even with bumpy car rides) and the fact that it would prop up the phone so it was readable on a desk without

excess keychain was the excuse for the giant Gm ignition recall. those ignition switches would bump off even if you had no key ring at all

I use the HD HomeRun Prime. I got it for a good deal at $99 from woot 6 or 7 months ago. It's been fantastic. I have a headless PC that is my windows media server and the HDHR Prime is configured through it. I can watch all of my movies(courtesy of windows media center, not HDHR), and live TV on my xbox 360. It's

Let us know if you head around University City!

Probably because the Maple Shade one in NJ is 15 minutes outside of Philly. I just test drove the Abarth there last Friday

This seems great, until your backpack, purse, or belt loop gets caught on it and you get thrown to the ground when you try to leave your seat

Hey, nice avatar!

You can always try moving your setup to chromeOS/Google Drive. A chrome app that automatically works from Google Drive will give you instant syncing, and you will still have offline mode and regular security updates. Plus, you can configure 2-Factor Authentication to really help keep your writing safe.

These things are terrible once they get any air under them. We had a Slash class at my local off road track, these things would hit a jump, and those giant body shells acted as kites and the trucks would get be thrown by the cushion of air they created underneath them. Especially when you jumped into a headwind.

I missed the suggestion article but I can't believe the Audi from I,Robot didn't make it on the list...

at least with these you can get a Diablosport or similar and permanently turn it off if it annoys you.

yeah. I know all too well. I have had far too many Castle controllers replaced due to them randomly catching on fire... The worst was the Mamba monster. Fire is hot, so it would activate the cooling fan, which would feed the fire and shoot flames right out the top of the controller... I'm still missing some hair on

Literally just helped my cousin built his new SCX10 yesterday. No waterproof electronics for him though...
