Cheating would be manipulating the RNG seed so your Fissure always hits. Because hacked pokemon perform identically to caught/bred pokemon, this is only eliminating grind that has nothing to do with the competition.

Fix what? If you allow instantaneous quit-outs without consequence, Hardcore loses any meaning, as you just keep a panic disconnect switch on hand if shit gets out of hand. There’s no practical way to distinguish between that and a “legitimate” disconnect.

That’s the sorta issue I have with “Cleanse” - like, I see where it can come off as insensitive/racist/whatever, but it’s specifically referring to the game mechanics. (Versus Invoke Prejudice up there, which, god, yeah what were they thinking.)

All of MtG is about killing creatures of other colors. Just about every base set has a card that "kills all non-white creatures" or "all no black creatures." It's just less problematic when talking about blue or green creatures.

I’m all for people criticizing video games. what I don’t like is when those critics are going into dev studios and telling them to change stuff in their games. effectively telling the developer to self censor anything that they don’t approve of.
