Except we don’t know how fast she was going. If she thought it was the brake, she probably went a bit more than 5mph..

Certainly, the driver would have been better served by taking down the plates and perhaps filing a report. The bikers would have been better served by assuming the most charitable explanation for the driver’s actions(mistimed lane change attempt) and not hitting the mirror. All this said, if I and a friend, family…
Put it in a Miata, paint it white, call it the Mach 5. Bonus if controls are on steering wheel. Weight be damned.
FWIW( very little, but I’ve been dying to reply to this all day), the N64 pod racing game did indeed have fire suppression units in the engines themselves. Can’t remember if it was foam, bullshit nanomachines or what. The courses were amazing. The closest I think I’ve ever come to that sci-fi racing was Nintendo’s…
Yeah, I followed the Cars and Coffee Facebook, but it seems like it mostly shows off the high end luxo/super cars, and of course the fuck ups. I wanna see some other types of cars. Show me some damned lemons or somethin once in a while.
A bunch of Nashville area Jalops? Time to have our own Cars and coffee without the idiot burnouts and crashes. More blackjack and hookers.
No. That looks like I40, westbound. Just before the Charlotte/white bridge road exit.
We didn’t whine about it though. The state’s done quite a few good ones actually! Don’t think we’ve had a stinker or a groaner yet!
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think people did this. I’m actually kind of surprised it’s such a huge thing though, especially because of how important and useful it can be on its own. A lot of people are gambling...
...I’m really hating how long it is. It may be a coupe, but I’m not yet willing to call it a sports car. God help us if it ends up like the RX-8. A “sporty” 2+2 instead of a sports 2+2..
Being born in 1989, I missed out on the 7, and was too young for the 8. As an American with student loans and other expenses, I am ready to be taken by the king rotary. I am actually quite interested in how they’ve tackled the rotary engine’s flaws! I’ve been waiting for them to offer a small rotary for motorcycle…
I hope I don’t come off as rude here, but I must know more about you. I find your assessment to be very...optimistic. I’m quite interested in knowing what your experiences have been like. A lot of players are going to be pragmatic, and too many will be griefers. Your personal prediction of your own actions speak…
Not sure if you have any control over the Facebook post linking this, but it claims this is small arms fire. A lot of readers are going to immediately ask “why is it flying so low and slow to be hit with small arms?”, “why are we trying to force A-10s out when this (low n slow) is what they do?”, “could a drone have…
It doesn’t take much to pass a vehicle going 20mph below the limit. I would have done the same thing to pass in my car. Likewise, using no gear is an idiot’s move, not an asshole’s.
I want a winch on my Volvo 740 sedan. Any tips for mounting on a vehicle never meant for this?
At this angle, I truly thought We may be looking at the R-9 Arrowhead. I am...sorta disappointed, but love the design. This sort of design is actually featured in the opening credits of Star Trek: Enterprise, but I never knew its name or history.
The video preview pic let my imagination run wild. I thought it was a drift under the light’s fireball or something.
Can Luke cable himself up and throw a thermal detonator into AT-ATs?
Car cost me $500. New tires were about 470 or so, shipped from tirerack and installed. For this one, I’m spending as I learn to wrench and do small upgrades. After I’m done doing basic maintenance and the few cheap mods I want, sell and buy a better platform for long-term use. Insurance is $30 per month though...
I lived in 3rd party student housing before. They tend to be super packed, and almost no parking. A lot of the tenants actually didn’t have a car, but we could get there with a 30 minute walk. The only other suggestion I can think of is, sadly, in a park. Maybe sneak with a friend. Definitely keep it clean though..
