The joke, son, that was a joke he did there.

When a timer is complete, some kind of slide-down alert appears that you need to slide up to shut off the timer. But if you leave the timer app open and think you can just press the “Start” button again to stop it, you would be wrong. That just restarts the timer but does not shut off the alarm.

Yes! The one we have has no bevel.

While nothing you stated here is false, you are comparing two very different products.

AlphaGeek, well said. I will start using it more. Some day I’ll bring it back to that knife maker to show how well it has held up over the years.

I don’t cook often, but I own one carbon steel knife. We got it in Kyoto as a souvenir from a knife maker back in 2008. That knife doesn’t get used much, because it seems special... I often hesitate when reaching for that knife and think to myself, “I’m not worthy of using the carbon knife to cut this apple. I guess

I vote against this. Kids need to learn the physics of tableware friction at the dinner table in a normal fashion. Completely changing the physics of it sends them mixed messages. My number one rule of kids is consistency. You can’t change their perception of tableware physics without having to pay a price later.

Oh great! Tuesdays were most productive because we didn’t have meetings scheduled. So much for that. Thanks a bunch. /s

Just wanted to add my 2 cents with a similar experience with my 2005 Prius. I don’t fault the Prius, but myself for being in a hurry:

I thought I recognized that storefront.... There is a tailor in that shopping center that we’ve been going to for years.

Do any of you guys disable the auto-lock function of your smartphones? After getting the new iPhone SE, I disabled autolock and it has been life changing. I think you guys should give it a try! Some reasons: pulling up a groupon while you’re still 3rd or 4th in line, not worrying about your screen going dim. Leaving a

This is the best cover image on LH I’ve seen over the length of my stay here!! Well done. I like the plant care tips, too.

I will say it was a big commitment to plop down the $90 for a carton of the stuff. I kept searching for “sampler” and came up empty. After a week of hesitation, I made the purchase. For science.

The first time I had the most amazing, mind blowing coffee was in 2007 B.C. (before children) at a mom-and-pop breakfast cafe. The kind that you put to your lips with eyes half open, take a sip and instantly snap wide awake and say, “MMMMM!”

I like that you questioned my assessment! I should clarify with a few reasons on why I considered his work “low-quality” here:

Story time! Do the right thing. One of our senior developers was touting the benefits of “CodeLanguageX” and how the way we’re coding things now at our workplace is outdated. I agreed with them, but when you have code checkins from 2001, switching code language is impractical. I challenged him to prove to the rest of

Where are the air conditioning vents and how do you adjust the angle of the air coming out?

Now that my iPhone 5S battery is nearly 2 years old, I have to be mindful of my apps. I use Waze to pick the quickest route to and from work, but I always make a point to quit Waze when I arrive.

YO DAWG, I heard you like to learn stuff.
