Hi Folks!!
Hi Folks!!
I had to use a Ubuntu Live USB to boot a friend's virus-infected machine last week. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it booted and how polished the liveCD interface was! It even detected the wifi and intel express chipset video driver (not sure which model it was). I did find that the GMA500 is supported in…
do they have wifi on board? if it's a reasonable rate and wants it, i'm sure she can get assistance on board from the cruise staff. Set her up with a phone card from pincity.com — that's the company i use. they have local access numbers all around the world, so you can check to see if there are local access numbers…
Nice thinking :) Also, a set of kitchen scissors is handy for times like these, too, and you don't have to wash a cutting board afterwards.
Nice! I think the even cooler part is that you took at least one of them from inside a vehicle.
THIS. Made me LOLapple.
Back in the years 2000 to 2003 I was an independent "computer guy for hire" — my customers were mostly home offices. I was always late to appointments. Clients would know to always expect me a half hour later than scheduled. One of my clients offered the most astute observation that I remember to this day. He…
My screen also looks jaundiced. I received it 2 days ago and noticed the color was off. I read something about glue not drying so I'll wait a couple of weeks before taking it in. I had random maxed out volume issues too.
no one's replied yet? I almost replied to say "yes" but realized I don't have enough time to keep track of my own dang commitments. Otherwise it sounds like a cool idea!
I'm sick of .... seeing those antivirus ads. #grumpypost
Nice list. I also used to use whatismyip, however you can now type "ip address" into a Google search and it will show you your public ip address.
I clicked to view this article just to see how many people were going to add #corrections for this... But then I ended up reading the article and enjoying it. Is this some sort of underhanded plot to get me to read about telescopes?
This is the best tip here. The prepaid t-mobile gold status tip is, well, golden. We have a t-mobile gold prepaid flip (dumb) phone that we keep around for guests who visit from out of state/country. I've been considering upgrading that flip phone to an unlocked iPhone to be a nicer host.
hear hear!
The system is down; The system is down; doo doo loo loo loo! doo doo loo loo loo!
When I was in elementary school, one of the "useless inventions" jokes we told, also known to me at the time as "Aggie jokes" (I'm from TX), was the "solar powered flashlight" joke. This was usually followed up with the "submarine screen door" to round out the stand-up routine. Trust me, it had people in stitches!…
Agreed! That must be a well-mounted towel rack to hold 3 LeCreuset lids. From the picture, I don't see anything wrong with just storing the lid to each pot upside-down with the pot and then stacking something else on top of it.
Hi Tsylord, there's this: [www.dealextreme.com]
After you've submitted your search, the sidebar on the left, look at the last link, "More search tools" — when you click that, you can choose or specify a custom time range there.
Indeed they are cheaper, but not by much. On Target.com they sell a 124 pack of Size 4 for $19.99, that works out to $0.16 each while the costco huggies by your numbers are $0.17 each. The Up diapers are softer, too.
