@theG: here's 3G for ya. And if anyone has a request for a different font type, speak up!

@WestwoodDenizen: no apology necessary. this thread nearly made me spit up my morning coffee. Especially when I started reading the "I'M COMIC SANS, ASSHOLE" monologue. Too funny!

@WestwoodDenizen: well, that was a conscious choice. it is a thought bubble after all!

I feel sorry for all the 3GS phones out there that will soon be abandoned, so I made this:

@JEmlayUSA: i hope you don't really do that.

@dsh: you're just a poser hipster. poser!

one of the (very) few good things we have in california is the weather. [weathertiles.com]

throw stuff away so you can buy more stuff.

i clicked this just to see what people would be saying in the comments.

@lamintak: I can't thank you enough. That you even cared to check the meta description is great. Fixed the capitalization, not sure what happened there!

@r0n0c: I appreciate the help, and totally not interpreting as being mean. I just added a cancel button to the search page. That actually helps quite a bit since on an iPhone, the search button is now more visible when you're in keyboard typing mode. 2 birds, 1 stone. :) Thanks for your input.

@lamintak: Thanks for the tip! I was able to go from 4 errors and 1 warning to just 1 error. I'm going to keep in that 1 feature that's considered an error because the onerror event is handled by most browsers and allows me to show an n/a image if yahoo's image doesn't load properly.

@r0n0c: Yes, I think that's the case. I only show the first 7 matches because that's what comes back from weather.com's lookup service. They also don't allow search by city, comma, state, just city (go figure). As a short term solution, you can enter your zip code to get to it.

@MagicMT: Thanks! You probably don't realize how much I appreciate you leaving a reply. I've poured my heart and soul and gave up my evenings with the missus all week for this. I'm hoping people will find this useful and use it! Thanks :)

Ok! Time for my "Elevator Pitch" — I've been working on something for the past week and finally have something to show for it (yay). I do have a deadful fear of rejection, so I hope y'all will give me a chance.

@mshelton: i pay for crashplan unlmited, but before when i was on the free version, the ads weren't annoying, so i didn't mind and wasn't the reason i became a paid customer. (I wanted their online unlimited).

crashplan is also another online service. I've used both, but prefer crashplan's client app.

att is either overpaying their IT staff or underpaying them. Overpaying if they're not getting the job done, underpaying if they're hiring junior level lackeys. Or maybe they're contracting out to the lowest bidder and getting what they paid for.
