Seeing Bobbi in the labcoat was bit of a jolt for me, too, and I think you did a great job of explaining just why this addition to her character lessens her character. But I forgave it for a few reasons that I kind of read in. If the show can paint these a bit more explicitly, I’d be very pleased.

I imagine that my feelings on getting into my first driverless car will be very much like the feelings people had when they first got into that new-fangled invention, the “elevator.”

Mass transit is still going to be a good deal cheaper for a long while.
Unless you’re assuming some massive socio-economic shift that elevates the working class to affording stuff like this, mass transit will be around a while.

One of the things I’ve heard proposed is that you could order different styles of robot cars: a swank one to impress a date, a truck to move something big, or a minivan for family vacation.

Gotta ask people who have a better sense of these things:

IS Damien Lewis considered sexy? He looks awful to me? Like really unappealing, but my track record for such things isn’t great.

I never dug the show... but I had forgotten how utterly awful that opening is.

She could get them any number of ways. Secondary mutation being the easiest. Invent a mutant for her to steal them from would be next.

My immediate thought was “Wait- don’t they own the FF, too?”
When you need a Hulk stand-in in the MCU you look for him down on Yancy Street.

THANK you.

The point is that ultimately Anakin defeated Vader. And he did so as an old man, horribly scarred in every way by his various battles- including that one. We know what he looks like beneath the mask. That’s the man who died on the second Death Star and was cremated and mourned by his son on the moon of Endor.
That’s

How can we suggest that a mere comment be promoted to an editorial with its own page entry? They do that sometimes...

“He’s very important to Han’s arc, and it helps to see that conversation in person.”

I keep hearing that remastering would be prohibitively expensive, but the work is already done. If they just drew up papers indemnifying the contributors to the Despecialized Editions of any infringement, maybe paying them something (even just a small cut of sales), it’d be a great improvement over the current state

Despecialized editions will make you happy.

Agreed. Bespin comes off looking much more as it should, but Mos Eisley ends up looking like a bustling, prosperous place rather than the farthest spot from the bright center of the universe.

“I really kind of wish we could get something between the original and special editions”

My desire to watch AoU again is pinned largely on decoding it’s janky bits.
