I don’t know that the bubble needs to pop, necessarily. This may be like cowboy movies, or it may level off into something more like spy movies, where there are always a couple every year and a few TV shows running.

Um... no. Waller isn’t shown to be particularly effective or smart, especially the way she is in the comics. Nor is there any real argument that she’s trying to do good- she’s a cardboard cutout of evil. Launching missiles at Starling? While there are still other options on the table? Really?
