Nah, Try and Abed were bonding by the middle season 1, with thing like “Troy and Abed in the Morning.”
Donde esta la biblioteca... yeeeah, BOI!

Exactly.
It’s undeniably brilliant, but whether it’s particular brilliance is engaging to a given person is variable by it’s nature.
Please submit a script to Berlanti ASAP. I will get to work on assassinating his writers (one by one in ascending order of usefulness) until they inevitably hire you.
Eventually, Researchgrrrl shall sit at the right hand of Berlanti until he gracefully retires and she takes the throne.
I got through the first couple okay, but then it was a TRUDGE for a few episodes until around the sixth when quality, plot, characterization, and world-building were just climbing at an incredible rate each episode until the finale, which achieved true awesomeness.
The Green Lantern movie was the clearest example I’ve seen in a long long time of studio meddling fucking up something that could have been good.
um... Hellcat? The Marvel character?
This is my hope. They’ve even done the most significant revamp of the costume yet.
I really thought that the Constantine TV show could have done fine with a smaller effects budget. Much of the magic in the comics is understated, which was part of what made it cool.
Sorry, but TV’s “Arrow” is a far cry from comics’ “Green Arrow.” I love the TV character, but so far he’s been a very clear Batman gloss. TV Waller is an evil supermodel rather than the badass bureaucrat of the comics, and Speedy is gender-switched and made Ollie’s sister. This doesn’t even get into Katana or Shadow…
This is GREAT news.
“every interview is with all the male producers”
The very story you’re commenting on quotes Ali Adler several times, and notes her role.
I think they set up the reason he won’t be there VERY well: she needs to do this herself to grow into her own agency and power. He will actively steer clear so she can make her own way.
The most we’ll ever see of him outside a sillouhette or streak in the sky is maybe a cameo by Clark. Maybe. I’d love to see that,…
This was the one worrisome thing in this report... let’s NOT have her throwing cellophane S-shields or inducing memory loss with a kiss or anything, K?
I can’t think of what powers Supes doesn’t have that we’d actually want his cousin to have. Though better access to Kryptonian tech could make sense...
You assume they’re paying attention or care. It’s pretty clear that the movie folks consider themselves to be a plane or two above even noting what the filthy plebes of the small screen are up to until they choose to elevate one of those plebes into their own lofty ranks.
“ I love Supergirl being a lame-o 20-something who can’t date and sits in her apartment watching TV and eating take-out because I was a lame-o 20-something doing exactly the same thing”
That’s not just the reality for many women in their 20’s but for many men, too. Like me. What was missing that I’d like to see is a…
I’m a straight cis-man with a beard and a working dick and everything- and I enjoyed the very slight element of romantic comedy. Which was slight. Those elements were a fraction of similar or tear-jerky elements included in virtually every episode of Arrow and Flash, and they were better done overall. Time will tell…
“I could do a car chase!”
No. It wasn’t a good movie.
But it still has several of the most awesomely perfect Superman scenes ever put on film. I’d even say it might have half of the best movie scenes of Superman- the plane rescue, pulling the boat out of the water, getting shanked, the gattling gun, stepping out of the sea plane... They just…
When does Routh’s Superman forget what he’s doing in that scene?
Sorry, but you’re misinterpreting. That’s clearly a sly look of lust.
