I really super-duper hate those guns, but judging by the people (and mannequins) standing around the vehicle... at least it’s properly petite for an urban environment.
Wow. I’m sorry your area’s infrastructure and urban planning sucks so badly that
A) You have to travel 30 miles for work
B) You have to drive it
C) That drive takes you two hours
“Covering fire” only work by firing at people. Those targets keep their heads down so they’re not shot.
It looked cool, but like its inspiration from the Burton films, it was just waaaaay too big to be of any actual use on tight Gotham streets. To the point that Burton showed a ridiculous grappling gun that allowed it to corner.
“A villein had no honor to lose, and did not need to be dealt with honorably.”
Pew-pew and rocketships have always been the gateway into sci-fi. Once past the gate, you find that there are all kinds of others stories to tell, too. There have always been some thoughtful, less (or not) action oriented sci-fi films, and hopefully they’ll get more push and attention.
The stakes are different, though. If this merely makes back its nut, they can call it a success because it enriches the rest of the MCU.
“‘Sandman’ was written over the course of whatever — I forget exactly, six or seven years. One at a time. One little 20-page issue at a time. And to try to take that and make it into something that’s a feature film — a movie that has a beginning, middle, and end — is complicated...”

They did the same mining for the prequels, which is part of why the art direction is so awesome.
Kinda like Chris Pratt. Yeah.
OR it’s like Lucas had a brilliant overall vision and lots of drive, but very little of the fine skills necessary to realize it.
Actually, Greedo has already pretty much said that he intends to take Han’s dead body to Jabba. Even in current US courts, when a person with motive, means, and intent is holding a gun on you and TELLS you they’re going to kill you, you’ve got a pretty good defense.
“Should be?”
I don’t even get this. Is it a pun? A reference to something I’m unaware of?
I love that they set this up as an Old West gunfight by the music and shots.
No, it’s true that we have unequal power relationships between the genders. But to argue that truth as a reason to see any hint of sexiness in a woman’s dress as oppressive is in itself oppressive, and also doomed by human nature.
People like sex and sexiness, both genders. It’s no good to just try to rule it out or…
