I agree. This movie has been looking better and better to me, coming up from the sub-basement established by the first one. this is first piece of news that gives me pause.

For a while each new bit of news on Arrow had me thinking more and more positively. But, and I know it's the CW, the last few tidbits have all been news of casting increasingly obnoxious and ludicrous social hurdles for Ollie.

I got destarred a while back- I think for pointing out that there were a bunch of typos in a particular story. But they gave it back in a couple weeks, so maybe hope yet.

In another comment, I specifically addressed the discrepancy with China, which has horrifically more dirty coal plants (and a greater percentage of power from them) than the West. That calls the legitimacy of the study for the West very much into question.

Is anyone correcting for how dirty China's coal plants are compared to western ones? My understanding has been that even the worst American coal plants are massively cleaner in both gasses and particulates than what comes out of even an efficient gasoline combustion engine.

Yeah- my biggest problem with it (aside from some of the visuals, oddly) was that it really shouldn't have been hard to invest that symbolism with some actual resonance. One pass one by the right script-doctor would have done it. The bones were there, it needed less pontification and more tightening.

The trailers for the first one didn't make it look as good as these do. IMHO, YMMV.

it might, MAYBE, have been acceptable as a stupid but fun movie about super soldiers with Power Armor.
