Changing Tyrion's fights makes sense, and they're going to have to do some more of that for the BotB. What really pissed me of was how incredibly different they made one of my favorite characters, Shae. Just an entirely different person and I can't see why.

Yeah, GRRM is really good at dropping big bombs in little packages like that. You have to turn back a minute- "when did I miss THAT?"

And I think I'm the only person alive who actually liked Alien 3.

I was so glad to see Whedon's WW go by the wayside. He was obviously struggling with it, and it is pretty much the opposite of what he does best. He excels at ensemble pieces, the difficulties of maturing, and reconciling all the crap that goes into being human. Wonder Woman is the clear focus of her own mythos,

How many times can I heart you?

Yes. Down. That's not all getting replaced by muscle. Also, I think she's like 5'8"- that's not tiny, and we should also keep in mind that we never see her outside of structured garments. Even in a sweater and jeans, she's got foundation under there.

I def. want to see a magazine format show like Twilight Zone, but I disagree that long-format is necessarily a detriment to genre. In fact, I think that it's got two great things going for it:

Righteous, brother!

Don't you mean a "Mamoamoa cameoa"?

Thank you- an excellent point that saves me from worrying.

That's exactly what I did- read about it here and then torrented it. hey CBC- get that shit on iTunes! (I'm always happy to pay when you let me)

Not really. You can bulk up from skinny, but cutting her down to lean muscle in a few months would end up requiring a lot of skin to be removed surgically.

It's taken a while because I sometimes get pissed with you. But you just got hearted. I just can't keep a good geek down.

A spoiler warning might have been nice, even as oblique as you were.

Yeah, I really hope they write a good song for that "Rains of Castamere".

They're not going to wimp out on what happens to that character, but I won't be surprised if some of the details of RW get excised for time. Doon't know if the swappin' & stitchin' aspect of that is necessary, either.

One of Trek's classic devices is blending and bending genres, whether it's Data as Holmes or Kirk going up against '30's gangsters.

Lost Girl.

Watch Lost Girl.

You LIKE having friends? Then how can you really call yourself a nerd? It's probably all your pansy-ass backing down from the hard core issues (like who cuter Kaylee or Willow) that murders joy and entertainment. Tone it down? Turn it UP!
