Their planet was destroyed long, long ago. By fear.

Possibly the most important change.

She was still the only one.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Yes, the writers could do cool stuff there, including even ultimately solving the conflict through negotiation, compromise or other intellectual means... after some great big set-piece fights, of course!

And that seems so obvious that it shouldn't need a banner. Also, the underwear goes on first, then the pants.

I've never seen Colbert do anything but Colbert, but if he can, he would be ideal. Didn't know he'd done anything else.

Well, for one thing, I'm tired of every superhero movie having to bring the iconic nemesis in the first movie. that was one of the great things about Batman Begins.

I think what Byrne established is still standing (though who the hell knows at this point), but I think this is an area that the movie has room to open up.

I know it's a long and dense thread by now, but read through to find the broad poitns picked out in detail or don't quibble over details. As I said above, "invoking "regardless of party" in this context feeds into that line of argument, whether intentionally or not. "

But also because there really was a different ethos before Reagan, and things could be described and impacted by forces other than the marketplace. Sometime after people started admiring Gordon

I agree. WW needs to be made of steel.

Well, you know she'll be in heels, so at 5'8" she should be able to top most men with very little camerawork.

I couldn't agree more about Hendricks and I'm tired of hearing it. I think she's very talented, and quite attractive, but she's just wrong for this role. I want more from Wonder Woman than height and tits. A LOT more.
