Actually, she's removed critical comments from men, and written about it. With as much eloquent but unintelligent rage as this article shows.

I was really pleased at the queer men and how they were presented. They were there in the story, and some very important characters, but they weren't "about" their orientation. They were about what they were about, and it's had reasonable impacts on the world.

It's a good thing that you're free to not to consume media that you can't stand.

Hearted.

"I think the other thing that is really problematic is that we don't get a whole lot of follow up with rape victims. For men in the book, injury and loss of ability are often well-explored in terms of how the characters cope. But the loss of agency and control for women is scarcely addressed. "

Yes, when he was an artist who got assigned to appropriate projects Lee was cool (though always a bit busy for me). Someone mistook that for some kind of leadership and decision-making capability.

Aah, I see. And on rereading your original comment realize that I should have seen before.

Well, unless you believe in that kind of thing, in which case some things are sacred. But probably not jizz.

I could have had them with a couple of women in my past, but those were the wrong women for me, so that wouldn't have been a good scene either.

No, every Monday afternoon I have mine blessed by the Pope and the Dalai Llama.

Very good point, but despite the differences, I still think the comparison is relevant. It should just be caveated that a comic adaptation should be expected to take more liberties. The problem is that pretty much whenever a Superhero movie fails it's blamed on sticking too close to source material. I even heard

Weeeell, they did do that somewhat for the the Donner films. The yellow S on the cape was invented for the movie and was shown in comics for awhile, and they adopted the crystalline kryptonian tech.

It's not THAT Bale changes his voice, it's HOW.

Those four things would improve the quality of the movie by about 50% and change probably 15 minutes of the run time.

Really good outline and really well reasoned.
