I hate the high neckline here (I'll spare you the long discussion of my reasons there), and the black on the shield only works for "mourning" Superman, but otherwise this is a good approach.

IF that's Zod, he'll be in powered armor or will... enbiggen. See how he's got a kind of mast attached to the back of his face? That's how tall he'll be. They're using that to give Cavill a reference point to act to, so he's consistently looking at Zod's face. Or whoever that is.
