Honey, I’ll sure miss you.
Noah Baumbach made a movie about a disintegrating marriage??? Well, now I’ve seen everything.

Recency Bias: The Meme!
Boy, do I disagree with that take on it. One of the big themes of the book is that the God of this book a) works in mysterious ways, b) doesn’t offer the kind of of-this-Earth gratification you’d want for doing His work, and c) has a Plan and fuck you if you think it should be different. That the God portrayed here…
Hard disagree. I love the whole thing.
RE: the ending...why? King’s take on God is one of the more interesting things about the story, to me, and the way in which it culminates fits perfectly.
A pox on the HMU person for this miniseries, though. It’s so hard to take Flagg seriously with that mullet.

It’s just putting more negativity at the expense of other people out into the world. Feels like we could use a lot less of that. But, you do you.
This town needs an Ænima.
I guess? Although, I think the spirit of Heller’s posts (and this article) is more denigratory, like, “Ha, ha, look at these weirdos!” Which, I dunno, strikes me as sorta mean-spirited.
Yes - people who don’t care if Twitter or Kinja thinks they sound dumb, or not.
Yes, yes, let us all point and laugh!
