I know I’m saying this waaaaay too early, but I kind of feel like Netflix might be in a little bit of trouble once Disney+ arrives and they start offering that sweet package deal with Hulu and ESPN+. At that point, Netflix is entirely banking that its originals are enough of a draw to outweigh the entire Disney

ZOMG, Brass Eye was amazing. People like to focus on the paedophile episode, because how could you not, but the entire run of it was brilliant.

Hi! I’m a Tool fan! You seem nice. Want to high five?

Correction: Magnolia is perfect and every plotline is its best.

If you think the decision to make The Deep a rapist in the pilot is head-scratching, don’t read the original comic, in which the perpetrator is Homelander...and Black Noir, and A-Train, all at once.

In addition to finding it bonkers and weird, I also found it well-written, and “good,” whatever that means, as well as very well-acted. It’s just that, you know, there are a bunch of well-written, good shows out there, but not all of them are this bonkers and weird, so that’s what I tend to comment on, first.

Oh, man, I agree with the first thing you said (Hap is an interesting villain) and disagree so hard with the last thing (that he evokes empathy). I understand (understood? *Sob*) his motives, but his blind zealotry, total disregard for the humanity of his subjects, and displacement of blame any time anything went

I mean, all of this is just my interpretation, so take it with whatever grain of salt, but...

I have never hated a TV character the way I hate Hap. And I mean that as a compliment to Isaacs’ performance.

1) ...as opposed to all those school shootings that are telegraphed from miles away.

I’d do the funky chicken, naked, for five hours if it would get me out of this bullshit timeline.

You sound like a lot of fun.

Wow, it’s been a while since the cancellation of a show really upset me, but here we are. The first season of The OA was really good, but they absolutely won me over with how unapologetically bonkerjerks they went in Season 2.

This movie would have been infinitely better if they let the sexual tension between the two leads actually boil over and had them, in time-honored movie tradition, go from bickering to being lovers by the end of the film. It really wouldn’t be that much of a stretch given how much of a deal it makes of having them

Oh, good, I thought we were done with talking about Game of Thrones and could now all move on with our lives, but we’ve been saved.

Is it really a surprise, though?

I think I’m all out of schadenfreude over this one. Michael Lang’s heart was in the right place, and it’s not like anyone bought tickets to this or in any other way got ripped off, so reading the last statement just made me sad.

The Internet keeps reminding me how old I am. First, there was that kid who didn’t know what the dark room in Stranger Things was; now, a web site for pop culture junkies has to clarify that Thomas Jane was the lead in Deep Blue Sea. What’s next to be lost to the sands of time, Stephen Sommers’ classic 1998 romp, Deep

Have you heard about our lord and savior, vinyl + a turntable?
