True story: About 10 years ago, before I got married, my then-girlfriend and I went on a canoe trip around Assateague Island off the Maryland eastern shore. I was living in Silicon Valley and she was living in DC. We had known each other for 10 years but were rekindling a long distance thing.

I’ve flown a metric shit-tonne of airlines of many different flags, and I’ve never encountered a “no outside food or drink” policy. Sure, you can’t take drinks through security, but I’ve never, ever had an issue with anything security approved (most foods) or anything bought after security. What airlines do this?

I don’t really understand all the hate about the “looks” of the truck. It’s a Super Duty. From my seat, it’s a tool that is designed to tow and haul. The A380 is not a good looking plane from head on. In fact, its kinda ugly. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen this angle before, but it looks like it has a giant forehead.
