She’ll only give one-on-one interviews to Black journalists. Nobody is entitled to an one-on-one invitation into anyone’s life. There will still be press conferences, official press releases, and freedom of information requests are still a thing.

But Al Butler of United Press International reports that her exit wasn’t injury-related and instead has been attributed to a “mental issue she is having.”

“This is nothing more than a veiled effort to pile on to further shape the public’s perception in this case ignoring that Mr. Kelly is presumed innocent until proven otherwise,” Farinella said in a statement.

I can think of one case where it would be required...in a movie depicting the awful conditions Black people were subjected to. As a white man, all I can say is that’s not my call. Black people bought that word with their blood and their lives. They own it.

I wish it were.

It’s ok if a movie isn’t “the best”, because most movies aren’t. That’s just the way the universe is built. Is the movie any good? If it is, that’s enough.

The farther back in time you look, the more life sucked for more people. Making things better for the next generation is the only noble purpose in life, while fighting tooth and claw to maintain the status quo is just a way to pass the time till death.
