I’m not a pro-riot kind of guy, but it’s time for a few people to remember the French Revolution and fear the guillotine.

Officers retreated in vehicles just after 10 p.m. Thursday local time as protesters stormed the building — smashing equipment, lighting fires and setting off fireworks, according to videos posted from the scene.

Here’s my advice to protesters: You weren’t anywhere, you didn’t see anything, your glasses were broken and your ears were stuffed from a head cold.

And if Floyd did realize it? It isn’t a capital crime, and if it was a capital crime, murdering a death-row inmate is STILL MURDER! Nothing that happened before that knee touched Floyd George’s neck matters. A defenseless man was murdered.

How can they turn on each other? What can they say that isn’t on video? They stood around listening to people shout about a dying man while a fellow officer was killing him.

If they’d treated him like they would anyone else caught committing murder on video, cuffed him and threw him in jail while they collected their evidence and filled out their paperwork, they could have saved themselves a police station.

Enjoy her karma-wreck.

My god! I just finished this and they’ve done it AGAIN!!!

Reminds me of the Boston Tea Party.

Nobody should live with that fear.

“At this point, white people just really need to learn how to read the room.”

When the law works against Black people and for the murderers of Black people as sure and as often as the sun rises, and when order means Black people keeping their mouths shut and putting up with whatever’s leftover, is it any wonder when Black people show no respect for law and order?

Anecdote — a short amusing or interesting story about a real incident or person.

My sister works in SEC compliance for Vanguard and my niece and her husband work for Fidelity. They have stories of people fired for exercising poor judgement in their private lives. Unless I had some incredibly valuable and irreplaceable skill*, if that was my career of choice, I would try really hard to not get

If I lost a $100,000 job for two years, I’d think I’d been hammered pretty hard for a tweet. I’d surely never touch social media again.

  • Karen got fired for pulling a racist stunt.

Most employers these days type names into Google just to see what comes up. Nobody in the financial services industry wants to hire an already-open can of worms.

She’s been fired with cause from a good job in the financial industry, she’ll never get another job anything like it, and she’s ineligible for unemployment. A $1,000 fine on top of that wouldn’t accomplish anything.

Some people’s role in life is to be an example to others of what happens if you insist on being a douche.

The Democrats might not help you up if you fall, but the Republicans will kick you when you’re down.
