@dogved: I tried with my Droid and q9m and both didn't have a reception problem, it seems they were designed with the antenna in a place where your hand doesn't affect it. Motorola Apple.

You'll know he's the one when you both pull out your phones at the same time.

Being a decision engine and not a search engine is bing's biggest fault. When I go to support.microsoft.com and type in 0x000000A3 I'm wanting to search not make a decision. So when bing finds no results I do a site search using google and find the MSKB# that gives the hotfix I need. Bing is a web site you use when

Since I don't have my commodore 64 (and the 'executive' SX 64) that I started college with anymore, my oldest gadget is my HP48SX.

@lmathews: Thats how it was the last time I read though it, was looking at getting a technet subscription myself, but the licensing basically didn't allow and real use.

@mullingitover: I was just going to post the same thing. Verizon took the media hit for the large ETF by introducing it first then everyone else followed. AT&T took the media hit for dropping unlimited, not everyone else is following. It sure seems like the exec's get together and decide who will introduce which

@PN - gooapplesoft: Common misconception. 5G on tethering not on just general data use.

@ustice: That small of a supply you would have a hard time getting a spark. You need high voltage or high current, etc to get any kind of a spark

@ustice: They are using a low voltage bench power supply. 1 it won't be enough voltage to start a fire and 2. it will either blow the fuse or the overload/short protection will shut it down, or 3. it will just heat up the regulator IC until its thermal protection shuts it down.

I've learned over the years to not scan documents into pdf format. Pdf's are a nice end product but for storage they are not handy, its difficult to pull parts out, OCR, edit, etc and much easier to put somehting into a pdf when your done. I leave my scans as images to allow easier management of them. Now I don't

Twitter integration is available on 2.1, just download twitter's app.

@eodelf: The bigger concern here is that maybe a laptop wasn't the right choice to start with. A desktop would have been a much better choice if your going to need multiple drives, otherwise swap the laptop's internal drive for a bigger one.

@rustybarnacle: LCD's do not get distorted by magnets, CRT's do.

I grew up in the back of a '79, wad blue and white and full time 4x4. 350 4 barrel would spin all 4 too. Passed my drivers test in it.

@terceiro: Funny you mention it as I'm running slackware right now. A few years ago i was into hobby computing, always changing things, upgrading, trying different software, etc. Then I got tired of tinkering and just wanted to use it to track my wooddorking projects, pay my bills, store my pictures, etc. I got

"iPad is basically a keyboard-less netbook " that is about the best description, a keyboard-less netbook with a phone OS. Apple created a answer without a question, a product without a market, an invention without a necessity. It can't replace my phone, it can't replace my netbook, it can't replace a server. With
