I wish these teen celebs could just do their own thing without needing to turn on each other.

@Mensa: I don't know. When I am angry (and god forbid drunk and angry) I say things that I think will hurt the other person, not things I believe. Rather things I think they might believe. Because of this I was willing to forgive the drunk driving arrest rant, but some of the things said on these latest couple of…
I think it is sweet. He was clearly at a loss for words, and just overcome. I'm a little jealous (with my PDA shy husband).
@Thus Spake Kate is Queen of the Mods: Absolutely - there was no consent given in this case. I was simply disagreeing with the part where Irin said she couldn't consent.
@Thus Spake Kate is Queen of the Mods: Oh - I wanted to add that I don't live in the US, so my understanding of the relevant child porn laws are different. I recently spoke to a lawyer about it, because my son took some hilarious video footage of himself, and I want to keep it, but was worried it might qualify as…
@RedLantern: What part of my argument indicates that "by not saying no" consent is inherent? I re-read my comment and I don't see it.
@Thus Spake Kate is Queen of the Mods: They can't legally consent to sex and sex acts, but I do not believe that nudity, or a discussion of puberty is necessarily sexual.
When I was 13 my mother entered university to study fine art photography. I was featured nude in a lot of her art over the next four years as I went through puberty. A LOT. And most of it was shown publicly, if not in galleries, at least in the halls of the art building.
@HelloKitty: How do you know she didn't advise it? I wouldn't put it past Lilo to ignore her lawyer's advice.
@marisateika: I think people might still object, but just entirely different people. You know - those right wingers who will like the straight kiss would boycott the lesbian kiss movie.
@Kivrin: Perhaps we could say that all sexuality is fluid, meaning everyone's has the potential for preference change over time. However, not everyone's does change, and if there is a shift (even a one time occurrence) not everyone is comfortable with that.
@AliceSycamore: I am a talker. I could marry anyone by that logic (though not many perhaps could put up with me).
Wahoo. According to this there is no way I am getting divorced. I hit none of the risk factors. So I can totally stop working on my relationship now.
@ManicPixieNightmare: Google definitions says that a celebrity is a widely known person. That, Lindz is.
@gertymac: I am comfortable judging other people's value system. We do that a lot in this community really, judging people who value a fetus's life over the mothers - for example. It is a slippery slope though, but we can and do keep each other in check.
@gertymac: At some point we get to criticize parents for their choices. If they choose to provide abstinence only education, we say they are dumb, if they beat their kids, we jail them. Why are they exempt from criticism during pregnancy? They are intentionally risking their children's health to prevent atypical…
@Vivelafat says Sweep the leg, Johnny.: Thank you! This is exactly what I wanted to say, but a) I didn't want to promote the original comment (I see someone else beat you too that though) and b) could not have stated as eloquently.
@lovecake... proprietor of zombie goods: I have a cloth diaper cover with skulls. I LOVE it.
I cloth diaper, and have picked brands and covers specifically because they look cute. This is the same, just bad for the planet.
@icanhazlettucewrap: I completely disagree with you. I spent years and years of my life wondering why and how I can not get my body or skin to look like those in magazines. Even with people saying they are "photoshopped" it was until I was in my thirties and found jez that I understood to what extent these images…
