Agreed. Miata > Fiata any day of the week and twice in Sunday. 

The rear 3/4 view of the 124 is a tragic let down from the coolness that you see up front.  Pair that with the lesser motor, and number 1 is just wrong.  The Miata is better in every way…especially with the last two updates.  

Absent from this safety assessment, how unsafe these massive vehicles with their square, 5-foot high hoods, are for nearly every single other vehicle on the road. Get T-boned or hit head-on by one of these monstrosities, and it’s game over for you.

Nice peace offering! I’ve been shooting some 4x5 lately and shoot a lot of cars on film, but for some reason I haven’t tried shooting a car on 4x5 yet. Thanks for the inspiration!

I used to pretty much only shoot velvia—it was tricky for me to edit, with the edits coming out so extreme on my scanner. The shadows so red, the look so exaggerated. It was just such a challenge to get everything right, I felt like I didn’t deserve to shoot anything else until I could get velvia right.
