Is there a way to use this without “registering”?
Took the bus from DC to NYC when I knew about the trip early enough that I could have gotten the $50 Amtrak fare. Dumb decision that I will not ever be repeating. The lack of leg room was not worth the $20 saved.

This is the correct take. There was nothing out of the ordinary for that hit. The fact that the NFL is playing this like near paralysis isn’t a possible consequence of playing football is disgusting. Understandable, but disgusting.
Just a quick quibble, the scholarship endowment will be $100k, not the scholarships themselves, which I imagine will be closer to $5k/year. But this is a good thing and a good antidote to help mitigate the sting of some of the shit that’s been happening lately.
