Wraith Squadron was way better. Stackpole's writing and pace was way more suited for Battletech.

The Job system is in affect though, as Pawns can change to a more powerful class if they meet certain requirements.

My usual team is Classic Storm (Her Blue field attack is awesome), Thor and Modern Hawkeye. Thor's fully upgraded Red and Yellows are extremely useful after a mass attack and stun, Also working on a new Black Widow (classic I think) that is good for quickly building up Blue for Storm.

Ugh, yes. And the countdowns to the end of tournaments kill me as I watch my place slowly dwindle. ALL I WANT IS MOAR WOLVERINE...

But my biggest gripe is also whiny. 3 different Wolverines, Black Widows, 2 iron mans, storms, hawkeyes, 2 Spidermans. Sure they have mostly different powers and rarities...but it seems odd…

We won't ever get another masterpiece that was Ace Combat 4 :( but the combo of what will obviously be a pretty epic story with super weapons and hopefully some hyper-planes makes me hope for at least another AC5.
