Griefing is something that I just can't understand. To go into a game with the desire to spoil someone else's experience just strikes me as personally abhorrent, immature, and generally anti-social.

Really, why do this? What makes the griefer think that their enjoyment should come at the expense of the other players?

That's why I'm stuck on my Rogers plan from three years ago. Getting 6GB of data for $30 seems like a steal now...and that's really sad.

In many ways, that's the reason why I jailbrake. I have a huge allotment of data, yet the carriers (and Apple) still insist on a 100MB cap for downloading over 3G (I'm on an iPhone

Is it a bit sad that my first thought is to install Windows on it so that it can actually play the majority of the games on Steam?

I really hope that Valve is able to leverage the SteamOS to get better Linux ports of games, as well as better driver support from AMD and Nvidia. Both have made some steps forward, but

The high temp on the PS4 is only about 60C, this is well within the expected range when gaming. It's not uncommon for the GPU of a gaming rig to be >70C, and you're not really outside of the normal range until >90C...but I never like to run my systems quite that hot.

Correction: This GIF sums up why no one in a major metropolitan city, with well established public transit system, should ever drive a car.

It must be ce to be in a location where this is practical, but outside of major cities, particularly in North America, this isn't an option. Although smaller ities can have some

This is a space sim first. It's not like Rogue Squadron, or some other arcade-style space shooter. This was designed for use on a PC, and will probably make use of far more inputs than would be possible on a console (at least without some kind of peripheral).

The backers didn't put money towards a dumbed-down game. We

This generation, I had three 360s (20GB and 2 120 Elites) go bad and one PS3 (60GB launch). The first 360 went bad about 1.5 years after purchase, due to the RRoD. This was before MS was giving 3 year warranties, so I was SOL. Got an Elite when they came out and the DVD drive went bad after about 2 years (once again,

So many features...that I can't use. Their major thrust as an entertainment center is useless if you're outside the US.

I owned one for a few years, while I was a single grad student. It was the most used vehicle I've ever owned. There were many joked at my expense about driving it, but I was also the first person they called whenever something needed to be moved.

...and then it died a warriors death; protecting me when a trucker didn't

I've got one of these for my home theater (Monster HTS 1000), and it's great, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you get one at a deep discount. The list price is about $200, and even the normal Amazon price is $127, which are both nuts. I picked one up while I was an employee at BestBuy for $45, and that was a fair

Guelph, ON Canada reporting in:

I built a custom RAID6 server, based around a Snapraid software interface. It currently has 10TB of useable space, but can be expanded to 40TB...even higher if I swap out the 2TB drives for larger ones (Norco 4224 case, with 3X Supermicro AOC-SAS2LP cards). The current setup can handle the loss of two data drives, but

It should just be noted that this only goes for Prime offered through Amazon.com. If you are in another region, Prime services differ. In Canada, the $79 Prime membership includes the free 2-day shipping...and that's it. No streaming services, greatly reduced content compared to the US site, but the same price.

The issue is that, as in this case, many diseases are asymptomatic during the incubation period. Many food born infections and food poisonings fall into this group, and it is entirely possible for someone to board a plane feeling fine, and have the symptoms only appear in mid flight.

Staphylococcus aureus is one such

I use ethernet all the time; at work and at home.

I wired my home with Cat6 and have outlets is all the rooms (well most). There is WiFi, but it is only provisioned for limited network access. Better speed, and more secure through ethernet. I've got a managed 24 port gigabit switch in the basement with the media server

Endless space is a very good 4X strategy game, but it does have some issues. The combat is very simplified, and the ship design portion isn't as robust as some previous games. It did scratch the Master of Orion II itch, but it's still not quite a successor to it.

My only issue with FF XII was the Gambit system. Once you leveled up, you could just walk away from the game and have it play itself. I remember doing just that for one of the last hunt battles (Yizamat...or something like that). I saw the size of the monsters health gauge, and went out to dinner. I came back two

It was a normal ascent, but afterwards, he did say that he was having problems with congestion, so that's the probable source. He also ignored the discomfort when we started going up, which was a mistake. If you have the same issue at depth, just do the same thing when descending but in reverse. Drop down about 2m

Although, I've been lucky enough to never have issues clearing my ears (when diving, I normally only need to move my jaw to equalize the pressure), I've been in the water with two divers who blew out an eardrum at depth. In one instance, it was during the initial descent, when a mid 20's diver just twitched violently,

Forget the size of the TV, for me it's the sound system that makes a home theater setup worthwhile. You might be able to carry a tablet for viewing, but try fitting a 1200W 7.1 setup with you. Listening to shows using built in speakers or headphones just doesn't compare. In order to achieve your portability, you're
