I don't think she anticipated such hypervigilance. In future, even the lightest jokes will be first run past a committee of Concerned Commenters.

You can get really good vegan ice cream!

A heifer is a type of cow. The article is about ice cream. Dairy. Boom Boom.

They're usually accidentally vegan. You can grill them, fry them, put them in the oven or even TOASTER. I haven't had one for years, but ate them a lot during childhood. They ARE proper junk food; like chips. You usually eat them with baked beans or ketchup.

I know, I just promoted that comment.

I get that feeling too:

My grandparents buy it. It's so uncomfortable when I'm sitting there next to my relatives in their 80s and they want to show me something on page 2.

I signed that Change petition a very long time ago. It's depressing to see that despite all the effort those in charge of it have made, very little has been achieved.

Ah, ok. Thanks. The 'clean' version has been on tv in the UK constantly, so that's the one that stuck in my head. It isn't much better than the naked version, which I saw for the first time yesterday.

I think it's so rapey that an absolutely basic human quality - giving eye contact - is considered a form of consent/power in the video.

The only good element is that one of the three women is black. A bit of tokenism really, and they feel the need to pair her only with the black singer. She doesn't interact with Robin Thicke during the video.

Imagine if he'd used the same excuse for doing something racist. "If it's acceptable to 'degrade' certain minorities in Historical Documents... People have been exploiting black people since the beginning of time. We didn't degrade them, we just showed them in their most natural state."

He did a Metro interview recently:

Generally not in the insulting context you intended it though. Otherwise your criticism wouldn't make any sense. Unless you were randomly offending pagans too.

The cat is the only member of the cast who enjoyed that production.

If you don't care about saying sexist things, why should Liz Jones? It's completely hypocritical.

Thousands of women were murdered thanks to sexism (i.e. 'witch craft'). I'm sure you can criticise her in a gender neutral way.

I think Rihanna also comes across as idiotic. Her reaction to being criticised solely for her sex appeal and youth is to state that her accuser is "a sad sloppy menopausal mess" - which completely highlights the original issue.

"a sad sloppy menopausal mess"

- There's nothing even vaguely feminist about using that as an insult.

"She's always struck me as a bitter, lonely old witch"
