Yeah, I just do it really quickly every day in the shower. It only takes a few seconds and I don't get a rash or ingrown hairs, unlike with my legs.

I started when I was around 14, after one bitchy girl at school decided to comment, "Eww. Is that HAIR on your arms?!"

No, I think hair trimmed very short and shaved are basically the same. I just worry about getting a loose hair on me / in my mouth. Yes, that sounds a bit crazy. Even at 13 or 14, seeing a person's pubic hair on the floor made me feel sick.

I'm a straight female who is only into ADULT men. I also have OCD and find pubic hair disgusting. Does that mean I must be "pedophiley"?

I know! I shave my arms (and even epilate my toe hair!) because I have PCOS and I'm very pale with dark hair. I like the way it looks and feels and it doesn't hurt anyone, or alter my personality. People need to mind their own business and think about more important things. "Creepy" - ridiculous.

I've been shaving my arms for almost fifteen years. I started as a teenager. I don't see what's "creepy" about it.

Exactly. Could not have said it better.

I'm like that. I've been single most of this year and STILL epilated my legs throughout the winter. I just prefer it!

It's not necessary, but appreciated. Trimmed is fine. To be frank, I have OCD and pubic hair has always been something I find disgusting. I know that's a strong statement. Trimmed is manageable.

No-one is judging all men by this one model though. That's like saying we shouldn't celebrate very intelligent individuals because they make everyone else feel stupid.

Patronising MRA. This is why no-one will take your comments seriously.

Not all sexuality is sexist. I think most commenters would view it as being 'sex-positive'.

Nope.

Saying "You are an idiot." and ignoring any points I make, is what makes you an MRA troll.

"(And frankly, male sexuality that doesn't conform to a heterosexist standard *is* often shamed)"

Jezebel has nothing against 'skinny models'.

At various points the site has covered eating disorders, but that's not the same thing.

"You are an idiot."
You are an MRA troll. Discussion over.

Can you tell me how a human (male or female) is exploited in those adverts?

There are plenty of ethical reasons to boycott Kraft (which a lot of people do) but this semi-naked man complaint is ridiculous.

You think the advert is exploitative? The man is capable of knowing what the advert entails.

This isn't like the old Jezebel 'Thighlights' feature - which I had a problem with. Here the man has signed up knowing the entire job is about being known for his sex appeal. That doesn't actually need to mean he is 'objectified'. That's a Victorian idea.
