She was my favorite as well. Her, Valkyrie, and Thor. And Tony, really enjoyed his speech to Cap/Bucky at the end of Civil War about how they’re either idiots or self-centered traitors for not signing the Accords and also how they’d be nothing without the super soldier serum, vibranium shield, and arm that were gifted

Same, I also answered with DS9. Kira, Garak, Dukat, Nog, Quark. Also, Worf, but he’s part TNG as well.

I love that show, Babylon 5

Probably Garak or Gul Dukat from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine!

I’m also a fan of Tubi. It has all my Lucha needs in one place.

Yeah if British people can carry on with their country having weak, pre-mixed gin and tonics in vending machines, then Italy can deal with similar cultural food and beverage erosion.

Yes, I like that with pizza and pasta. It tastes good hot, but when you leave a lasagna or whatever in the refrigerator then everything congeals and gets a bit denser. At least when I still ate pasta/pizza, back when my body was in harmony with itself, before the diabetes nation attacked.

Maybe The Rock was their favorite wrestler growing up? Who knows.

I know the title says this movie “is beneath everyone involved-- especially Emilia Clarke” but poor Jack Huston. I know he’s been in one bomb, the Ben-Hur remake, but he’s been in some damn good TV and also some movies. He’s likely built up a better resume, success to bomb-ratio, than Clarke and definitely Knoxville.

A guest spot on Succession seems like a good warm-up for playing Pat Riley. Anyway, I love Adrien Brody and I am a huge fan of Succession, so hopefully this works out. I liked his guest role on Peaky Blinders ok, but it wasn’t as memorable as I’d hoped it would be.

It wasn’t very good but it had some fun performances. And how you gonna do Kate Micucci and Molly Shannon dirty like that? Ha, Plaza is top shelf though, I agree.

Like, how did you initially find out that the “OK” gesture had been co-opted into a White Power gesture and the story behind it? I’m interested to know, because for me it was this site.

It is a damn shame that a lot of people don’t know that’s a slur yet. Too bad the Roma don’t have more lobbying power, that’s the only way to get anything done in the US, unfortunately. You think Jeopardy at least could have a list of what not to say or gesticulate while on the show. And why. Like, he seemed as if he

I’ve seen a lot of coverage of January 6th and the events leading up to it and the fallout, but I’ve not read one mainstream piece or any coverage that called out that gesture specifically. Then again, I don’t watch the 24 hour news cycle, just read “The Economist” monthly and BBC.com daily, so I could have missed

I agree about Rodgers and Richards.

I didn’t like him either. I really don’t like him in general, as a football fan, but I tried to divorce that from him as a Jeopardy person and give him a shot. Was not a fan of his delivery or how self-absorbed he was. Whenever someone got a question wrong his tone made it seem like he thought he would have been able

Yeah to me Burton was just suggesting that he had a lot of fans across a broad set of demographics who would happily tune in to see him. There was no “or else” pressure.

I agree, I’m surprised people outside of Packers-land are fans of him. He seems like a really smug jackass, especially for someone with only one ring. He does have incredible abilities on the field, but it isn’t enough for him to be personally great, everyone has to know about it and agree with him and praise him.

I saw something similar to that online, I forget where, but it said there are no “anti-racist” merit badges for people to achieve where they have somehow transcended racism and are beyond it. It really is a daily struggle to improvement, like any sort of exercise, you can’t just get a six-pack and say “I’m done

He thinks he’s the most qualified, why not sound enthusiastic in his pitch for being on the show? He’d make a better host than a lot of the other guests, just based on his previous experience, and the fact that he really wants the job should enhance, not decrease, his place in the running. I don’t think he was rude or
