I’m hoping they have her show up in S2. And that there is a S2 of course. She does kind of show up late in the series, compared to the others, and she has such a unique dynamic that I’d rather them start S2 off with a very Ed-centric set of episodes of her fitting in with the rest of the crew, than if they just wedged

As far as Spike, I didn’t realize the creator of the manga/anime always planned for him to be Asian until I just read it in the comments. Though I kind of had him in my head as a white guy (due to his name) who learned Jeet Kune Do and then just kept absorbing whatever parts of East Asian culture that he could. I

You are correct, his other post on here complained about how Faye was wearing too many clothes. Only he called her “that chick whose name I don’t remember” so, even better. I always saw Jet as a Black man as well, partially cause the English dub had him voiced by Beau Billingslea.

A giant fuck-off yacht would be on point for the Roy family.

That sounds about right. I love it when super nice actors have to play horrible people on TV (Like Gillian Anderson in “the Crown”) much more than when real life jerks get to play cool characters (Like Nick Searcy playing Art on “Justified”) but Cox seems like he’s game for anything.

If only they mentioned it in the article!

I guess they might tease her showing up near the end of the final episode to give fans hope for a potential season 2. Ed did show up last, so I get why they wouldn’t want to cram her in the last couple episodes of the first netflix season and have her as a hook for S2. As long as her and Ein get plenty of moments

Are they even explicit about the character’s ethnicity in the show? I know the guy who did the English dub for Jet was a Black man, but honestly, does it matter? It seemed like in the show a lot of things about Earth were left in the past, especially since it is all chewed up in the Bebop Universe, and people cared

I wondered how tall he was as well, I remember watching his youtube videos back at the day when he was a kid and he was usually sitting down, and with “Inside” he was obviously all by himself so it is kind of hard to tell his height. 6'5 isn’t bad though, combined with his trash talking ability he would have made a

Love it.

Good call! The delivery made me smile.

I really enjoyed their rapport in that film. Makes me wish Pitt and Freeman were in more movies together.

I’ve also got a Brad Pitt one, his line at the end of “Inglorious Basterds” about the Swastika he carved into Christoph Waltz’s head being his masterpiece.

Attention Lads and Lasses, the masses of our asses have fallen into the crevasses of these mountain passes!

And we’re all the better for it!

I said Joel Hodgson but I meant to say John Hodgman, but now I want them to co-host as the Hodg-people.

Or Coach McGuirk!

Joel Hodgson would be good too.

Damn, that is a very good and sad point you made in that final paragraph. Like, if nine good things happen to me today and then one bad/embarrassing thing, guess what’ll keep me up at night. Though that was a neat inversion of the expectations of society, a Valid supporting an Invalid to do a high-level job instead of
