This reminds me of when Charlize Theron was in “Monster” like whoever did her hair/makeup/costuming must have had to put in a loooooot of work to make her appear unattractive. Same with Tennant.

Well I just think that given his personal experiences with Hollywood adaptations as well as his established prejudice against the majority of superheroes that not only is he not objective but he would be a bad person due to his obvious bias.

The part I don’t like about his argument is he seems to imply that people who engage in forms of culture aren’t aware that they are choosing to escape their reality for a bit or that their chosen form of entertainment, like comics or comic movies, might have some themes that came down from editors and producers who

Lost Girls and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen are both awesome. I was so sad that the latter got butchered in the movie, because it is my favorite work of his even more so that V for Vendetta or Watchmen. As far as Lost Girls that was smut with a plot, I feel like it appealed to a lot of different layers of my mind

Except Alan Moore hates superheroes. I’ve read in the introduction to some of his books how he vastly preferred the horror genre of comic books to the superhero genre, and kind of blames superheros for the downfall of what he considered a good period in comics when they had more variety and weren’t all just about Uber

Brian Cox’s reaction shots and Cookie Monster talking about embezzling his profits in the 80's. so goooood!

“a) Logan Roy would definitely make Kendall or Roman take that meeting;”

Plus his relationship with Cytorrak is interesting. That sort of mutual hatred and dependency. Reminds me a bit of Moon Knight and Khonshu but of course there are lots of differences. Now we need Moon Knight and Juggernaut teaming up, even though their styles would totally clash.

In order to find the best cartoon theme song you’d have to go back, back to the past, Samurai Jack!

Juggernaut crying at the kid’s drawings was the best.

If we ever get around to making a list of severed feet, then i know a film that won’t even have to Audition to make it to the top.

Jemele and Michael are way more enjoyable to listen to than Stephen A. They had good chemistry and could go on legit tangents if they felt like it without breaking into a screaming match like most of their colleagues.

Bomani and Jemele and Torres definitely deserve the money that Stephen A. is taking home. He is wrong more often than he is right, never backs up his claims with research, and the “I’m right because I’m yelling louder” thing is only endearing when it is done tongue in cheek. Also, supporting domestic abusers and

Colin Farrell is awesome. Excited for him in the new Batman!

D’Arcy Carden > Macfadyen > Firth. But Colin Firth is pretty cool though.

Give me that sweet sweet Simony

Never forget the miracle of loaves and fishes, er, avocado toast and smoked salmon.

Is that from “Justified”?

Maybe Penguin will turn into Varga in like twenty or thirty years after he’s lived through some more hell, maybe No Man’s Land, and gotten a bit more jaded and together and shed his last vestiges of wanting to be liked/respected that Penguin still has.

The way you describe him he kinda reminds me of V.M. Varga from season 3 of the “Fargo” tv show
