I’d say you’re right for the most part with “nobody over 25 has any business dating a 21-year old” but in this case it seems like they made a pretty solid connection. So they might be the rare exception to that rule. I agree with the rest of your advice about letting the ex live his life since he hasn’t tried to

Seems a bit like that other Ryan Reynolds dark comedy where he can hear imaginary voices, aptly titled “The Voices”. Anyway, it was really quite a good movie so I hope this one is just as good.

I like how Aku goes full “Doctor Doom” and refers to himself in the third person. Especially when talking about his domain. Aku is more than an entity, Aku is a way of life.

Oh hell yeah. Aku was a very funny character. Also, pretty well rounded. he could go from terrifying and cruel to petty and petulant to world weary and almost friendly with Jack because they’re the only ones who “understand” one another. The one where Aku is upset cause the kids like Jack more so he tells some

Phil Lamarr is doing the sad walk right now.

should be on demand, if you have that.

True, but a decent amount of the humor involved dialogue. Phil Lamarr really nailed it with the fish out of water inquisitiveness and unfailing politeness of Jack when he spoke. I enjoyed the first episode of Primal even though the voice acting was largely just screams of rage and tears and roars. Will be interesting

part of me thinks you are right but the rest wants to see what they could have dreamed up in an alternate world where Korgoth got a season order.

Are you sure people and dinosaurs didn’t run around together? You could go back, back to the past (Samurai Jack) to check up on it.

(politely) Fight forever!

McGruder film you say? So are they making a Boondocks movie to go along with the new series?

He looks like Deadshot from the “Secret Six” comics.

His new nickname should be Minshew-noku Driver. Get it, cause he’s good at driving down the field and it has his name and sounds like michinoku driver. Maybe he can launch some (blue thunder) bombs down the field!

Snoop Dogg did the same thing with the “Monk” theme song so I’m a little bit less surprised. Then again, Randy Newman and Nick Cave are kind of disparate artists to say the least. So, good for Snoop stretching his boundaries in covering theme songs.

It was a neat concept with mixed results. But there were some genuine surprises in there. Always a bit of a head turner when a band you actually like starts out covering “Little Boxes” I remember the of Montreal one was probably my favorite/largest surprise.

I remember when Darkseid did the eyebeams of death thing and the bat family was all listening to this video will that Bruce made and the last thing he said was “Thank You, Dad” to Alfred. *sob.

I agree. They can be way scarier if they are less cartoonish. Green suit would be slick. Maybe a gimmicked cane but not anything over the top. Body horror can work for a villain when done right, but I mean Cronenberg/Lynch and not like spooky gauges or wicked tats.

Hell yeah Arkham City Riddler is the best.

I was just referencing how he is in the current comics. I think what happened was he got shot in the gut and that made the “dot” of the question mark and he carved the rest. It works for him way better than Leto Damaged Joker in my opinion.

I agree Wright would be awesome in that role. Also, even though Alfred is technically his butler and definitely fulfills that job, he’s also a surrogate father and crimefighter and runs the cave etc. So he and Batman are on equal footing even if Alfred fetches sandwiches and stuff.
