That first live action movie had potential. I mean, I couldn’t imagine a better fit for the live cast. And getting Rowan Atkinson as well! It totally did bomb, I saw it when I was twelve and hated it, still do. But yeah, Linda Cardellini is perfect as Velma. Lillard was a damn good Shaggy as well.

Given your description, I’d pick David Morrisey even though he is from Liverpool not the midwest. He can definitely do this:

That’s a good call, Mads. I would also vote Jon Hamm or Timothy Dalton

I don’t know how Skarsgard is gonna pan out as Randall Flagg but I saw “Bad Times at the El Royale” and I got the exact vibe you mentioned. That I could understand why Hemsworth would have a cult of followers, because he is handsome and charismatic, but I didn’t ever feel scared of his character even when he had guns

Yeah I don’t get why he included issues like stealing a laptop in college or having substance abuse problems on the same list as domestic abuse of a pregnant woman or rape or murder. Wow.

Yeah somebody needs to remind Andreescu that this isn’t a hockey match haha. I’m glad she won though, she seems cool.

conspiracy theories.

Well done @SHough. +1

oh that’s a good one. +all the stars

*multiple rapist.

Yeah that was a good one. Funny and accurate.

Yeah your last sentence is probably the most vital part!

Keys has a highly ranked opponent though. So, we’ll see. Could be all kinds of surprises, though Serena seems to be handling her business currently.

I agree! I wish they had met in the finals instead of this round. I really was cheering for both of them, and I also thought since Osaka has seemed really torn up about losing on a big stage in the past it was very kind of her to channel her energy towards helping someone who had just lost and was obviously upset

Barty just lost! Straight sets. I also like Osaka and hope she wins a bunch. Even before this great showing of sportsmanship I thought she was nice and open and swell. But now, exponential increase of fandom.

I feel like Serena is more condescending when she loses rather than when she wins. Like that whole fiasco you mentioned wasn’t her fault, more of her coach and the crowd and the ump, but I never got the impression she was being unsportsmanlike to Osaka. She has insulted other opponents who have beat her in the past,

Yeah when Osaka did this kind gesture I am pretty sure that most people not named Samer Kalaf were like, “That is so nice I wish they had both won” and not “How can I tie this to Serena and Carlos Ramos while also complaining how people always tie Osaka to that event!” He’s perpetuating his own complaint.

It really does break me in half when I see Osaka lose because she seems so wonderful and genuine and open and when she loses it appears to affect her a lot, so it was cool that she not only won but also understood how a singles loss can crack open somebody’s soul and bare it to everyone and she helped Gauff get
